“We had an INCREDIBLE experience at Bette’s Family Fun Center this past Saturday night for a combined birthday celebration for our 10- and 8-year-olds! 🎉🎂
We decided an evening party would be the perfect way to celebrate with all of our family and friends, and renting out the WHOLE Fun Center was absolutely the best decision! Everyone had an amazing time—from the kids to the grown-ups! There was something for everyone, and it made for such a fun, memorable night.
Our host, Alexis, and her entire team were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly helpful from start to finish—offering suggestions, helping us stay organized, assisting with setup, and even helping with cleanup. Their support made everything so much easier and allowed us to actually enjoy the celebration with our family and friends.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly, private venue for a birthday party or special event, we HIGHLY recommend renting out the whole Fun Center. You will not regret it!

“On May 2, 2026, we had a dual 50th birthday party at the Polish American champagne room. The owner the staff to include the bartenders are five star when it comes to customer service when it comes to working with you when it comes to giving you ideas to help you plan whatever event you’re booking for. I strongly recommend for everyone to book At this place. We had a ball from beginning to end. The pricing is perfect. The flow of the night was a Beautiful dream. We will be booking again for future events.”

“We got married at the end of August at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and had an incredible wedding! We worked with Megan from the beginning, and she helped make the planning process very seamless. Megan has incredible attention to detail and always answered our questions in a timely matter.
My bridesmaids and I chose to get ready in the bridal suite with the early 8am entry. This was an amazing decision as it set up good vibes for the rest of the day at the venue. Our AM bridal attendant, Hayley, was very sweet and helpful.
Our Maitre D, Nikki, did an excellent job coordinating the day-of timeline with the vendors and keeping everything running smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the venue space, the food quality, the friendly staff, and much more. Additionally, with two hotels in walking distance, it’s an ideal location for guests. We couldn’t recommend the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve enough.”

“Warehouse3Live is such a fabulous, funky, intimate space, and I’m already looking forward to returning again and again. I had a great time dancing to the incredible band, and it was so fun to see others join in too.
It can be a little tricky to find the first time. We ended up walking down the sidewalk between the apartments and the post office, then found it on the other side of the postal trucks. For next time, I’ll set my GPS to the Celia Bookshop and walk past the beautiful mural straight to the sticker-covered door.
The venue is BYOB and offers water, other beverages, snacks, and popcorn for a fair donation. Such a great vibe all around. A true hidden gem ✨”

It was the perfect escape to get out into nature for a while, and the diversity of the trees and plants is really impressive. “Went for a wedding at the Parque venue it was a wonderful experience I enjoyed it very much. I just wish there was just more information about the house and the grounds on hand. One eventually found a little booklet which told me all about it very interesting. Good little day trip to see the grounds. FYI..there is no wifi & cell phone service was sporadic on AT&T and our friend who had Verizon was the same.”
“We had our father’s memorial celebration at Bellevue Hall and it was truly a lovely event.
The space is beautiful, inside and out, and the team was kind, organized and supportive. The food was also delicious. We feel grateful to have honored our father there and wish he had been there to enjoy it, too!”
“The wines are very nice, and a bit higher priced than other nice wines in the liquor store, but the setting is lovely all year round. This time we were outside with the kids. They played on the lawn and met some new pups. The staff here is great. I wish there were a way to do wine tasting outdoors, though, since children are not allowed indoors.”

“My son had his Wilmington U graduation here yesterday. Beautiful establishment, plenty of parking, as well as the staff was very helpful when directing the event. Beautiful scenic River Walk in the back of the building filled with plenty of shops and eateries.”

“PENDLE Hill is historic ( read: a bit funky from a loving califorian perspective)..But you can feel the vibe/ feng shui left by generations of devoted retreatants of diverse denominations. And the current staff is dedicated , hardworking and warm. They create a good foundation for any kind of retreat or group experience.And the grounds too are lovely frequented by many birds. deer etc”
“Good evening Family. I visited the Ardmore Food Pantry today with my neighbor, Sadie. Ardmore Food pantry is in St Mary's. This was my first time. We were required to bring our own shopping bags. St Mary's serves the community on Mondays 10:30 am to noon and 5:30 to 7pm also on Mondays. They also serve a delicious dinner at 5:30 pm. They have tickets for a raffle which you do not have to purchase and you win prizes. They have free coffee, cookie bars, Danish and blueberries and strawberries to sample before you gather your free items of food. Everyone is very friendly here. We sat around the breakfast table first then we sat at the table #5. They call each table and then you get up with your bags and collect your food and place in your bag. They have volunteers to hand out and monitor each person obtaining their food choices. There are rest rooms here. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. I had a good experience today. Have a good night, be active and mobile especially for people over the age of 50 years.”

“Jules, the manager at Torbert Street Social, truly exemplifies what outstanding hospitality looks like.
After our company hosted a corporate happy hour event, I realized, far too late, that I had accidentally left my coat and, even worse, my car key inside the venue after it had already closed for the night. The next day, a bit stressed, I went to the nearby restaurant that’s part of the Torbert Family of Restaurants to see if anyone could help.
That’s when Jules, the manager over our corporate happy hour, stepped in and completely turned the situation around. Without hesitation, she went above and beyond by unlocking the venue so I could retrieve my belongings. Not only was Jules incredibly accommodating, but she also handled the whole situation with warmth and humor. We even shared a laugh about my gaffe.
It was nice to encounter that level of genuine kindness and willingness to help. Torbert Street Social is lucky to have Jules, a dedicated and personable manager leading the way.”

“My wife and I have lived here for going on 11 years. From day 1 we knew we made the right choice. Yes there are landscapers and snow removal contractors so we don’t have to do it. And yes there are contractors at times making necessary repairs. Don’t committed homeowners need to do this? With 1710 units clustered over 800 acres we have more open space not counting the golf course than most communities in Chester County. The amenities are amazing as are the vistas. Second best thing we did!”
“I did Book of Secrets theme with a friend. The room master(s) might've had to navigate multiple rooms at once. Priced about right for what you get. The flow of the room was mostly good and staff very friendly. There was a red button that my friend and I misunderstood to be the exit room button versus a button that could be used in the room itself.”
“I have gone here for a various amount of years and absolutely loved it! The staff is great and it’s a really good environment to be around, it’s clean, there kind and helpful doing any situation. Highly recommend galaxy gymnastics?”
“Best I’ve skating rink in Springfield. The staff are really friendly and there are tools to help you for beginner skaters. You can see the Zamboni going around it if you go early and they rent skates. You can also come for hockey games and other ice sports.”
