My parents sent me a package from the Atglen PO last week with my correct address here out of state written legibly on the package. The mail lady (was told she was an older gal), was SO LAZY and incompetent at her job, that she put an entirely different address on there. Luckily, I was able to get it sorted out through the USPS hotline, to then go and pickup my package at a business location (Fortunately they had it unopened inside their autoshop garage) not too far from my neck of the woods. In all my years receiving and sending packages and mail thru USPS, I've never once had anything remotely poor of an experience as this one. And the cost was 55 dollars in shipping! To ship it to the WRONG LOCATION! This lady should be canned from her job and receive unemployment for her incompetency to society.

I like this post office, the lady working there is nice and friendly. She not that talkative, but for me that's just fine. I usually have packages that already have prepaid labels, so i just drop off and go. I appreciate the quickness. I don't ever have to worry about them, not scanning my packages.

We've had great experiences with all services they provide. I haven't had any problems with my certified letters, mail or other issues. Albeit, we do not have a PO box with them. I found both the postmaster and employees friendly. I appreciate the small town feel and service they provide.

Without a doubt the laziest and most disgusted by mail carriers there are. I have had several certified mail notices left in my mail box, while working from home. I call and complain as it is generally something I am waiting for, and the man who identifies himself as the manager of the branch could care less. I have filed 4 complaints now. However the worst, just happened. I’m sitting in my truck in my driveway pulling out. The mail truck had a package for me. Pulled in nearly hitting me, ignored me and then after dropping the package off stopped and ‘rearranged’ himself in my driveway in front of myself and my young daughter in the truck. When I said something and said it wasn’t appropriate for him to drop his pants in my driveway no matter what, he ignored me and got back in his mail truck and left. If I wasn’t obligated to have a mail box, I’d be taking a chainsaw to the post it is on. How absolutely rude and disgusting

This is also more of a complaint ,than a review. I find everyone who works at Atglen to be very friendly and most helpful .Except for my mail delivery guy . He is lazy and inefficient .Everyday I have to sort my mail because he doesn't .I get mail for people on the next street over!! Plus various people on my street ! And some days I don't get mail at all because he is slow. So I will give the Atglen Post office a 5star but my delivery person a minus 1 ! And yes ,I have complained at the Post Office.

This is not a review but more of a complaint. The hours at the Atglen Post office are rediculous. I also never seen a post office that locks the doors into the mail box room. I went this Saturday a bit after 3pm, to get mail, it was locked. Sundays it is locked. We work and we get done we would like to get our mail. This issue needs to be addressed. If they are afraid of someone coming in after hours and causing problem, install camers. I would not recomend this office to anyone. Best one I have found is Unionville post office. You can get your mail 24/7 , 365.

The workers at the post office are helpful and friendly. Only negative is the mail delivery person usually does not deliver until late in the day and we often get mail intended for our neighbors.

Hours are the most limited I've ever seen at a post office.
