Their Firewood ISN'T SEASONED PROPERLY & molded. Doesn't stay lit, lots of Black smoke & heavy popping. Doesn't burn clean. High moisture (34%). I told driver wood looks dark & wet. He assured me the wood was seasoned & only wet because it was stored uncovered outdoors. After I stacked wood on racks for 3 weeks in dry covered area with full sun And an indoor rack by hot fireplace, the wood is still damp & useless. Company not returning calls.

You can’t beat Firewood 4 U for well seasoned hardwood. My recent delivery had mostly ash and oak and as usual, I always receive a bit more than I ordered for the same price. Brian delivered the wood I had ordered and he did a great job in a tight spot..He’s also very personable.

A Shinning Light in an Often-Shady BusinessDiane and her team were fantastic. They said they would call back on their message, they did. They said they discussed my order with me and showed me how I could reduce the price. They said when they would deliver the wood and they were right on time. I do not know about anyone else, but I have never in my seven years in the Poconos had such exceptional service. Additionally, I asked for two cords of wood and they delivered two cords of wood. Firewood 4U clearly sets the standard for customer service and has earned my business for life.

Being new to the area and making that clear on the phone, it would've been nice if exactly what a cord, a face cord, a half cord really is. I will say since I'm using the word outside, they were very helpful to say and save a few dollars by not getting the seasoned wood,-Saying that their wood, would burn just fine outside but just with a little smoke. I did not find out until after the delivery that I could pay to have it stacked. It was mentioned after the fact, I probably would've spent a few dollars to save what will be a lot of extra work.... I don't really know but I'm told $275 is a lot for what I received, other peoples opinions were that $275 was exactly what I should expect to pay. This is just a review I'm no expert if you know better, please comment and help the rest of us out. I will say on the phone they were very friendly and the delivery happened as promised on time... the driver was very respectful of my property.
