Always friendly, great people. Very helpful. My cat is not easy to work with, and they always do everything they can to make sure she is comfortable during visits.

Took my dog to get neutered , dropped off a little before 10am and picked up 2pm. They did not even give him enough time to fully wake up from anesthesia. As someone with experience in the vet field I was shocked to be handed my dog in this condition. I understand anesthesia can take up to 24 hours to ware off, but to be rushing to get him out the office is ridiculous. The vet had a nasty attitude when asked for medication to bring home with him to calm him down while he heals. She made it look as if I was expecting the medications for free. Over all over priced, very unprofessional. Will not be going back.

All about the money.Conflicting information about the appointment and what they want you to do when you get to the office. Quoted different price for the visit within minutes of walking through the door. Then more $ to actually look at the animal. Then quoted $110 to look and tell me if my Rabbit was a girl or boy. ( it’s all on the inside unlike most mammals) then medication $ on top of that. I was not happy, but payed the bill took the report and walked out. To angry to read the report then and there. Got home, the report was just a bill no info at all! No weights, sex’s, condition, what they did, what the medication was, NOTHING!!So 45 min and $400 later……. I came out no better( but poorer ) then when I went in.I will never go back.Find another vet, one who is not all about the money.

Called to get a cat with a potential UTI an appointment and they gave me an appointment for 2 weeks out. UTI shouldn’t wait that long. Had me on hold forever and then told me they could squeeze me in tomorrow but it’ll cost $110 for the emergency visit (fine) and then Dr will want to do like 6 other tests for additional cost (fine). I asked them what’s the additional cost and she said it would take a few hours. I told her I’ll use my regular vet and she hung up on me. Very professional.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my dog in to be spayed. The vet noted some discharge from the dog's vaginal area. I explained that it did appear that she went into heat again right before her spay. They were adamant that dogs only go into heat once every 6 months and this appeared to an infection. Piyo to be exact. They took some bloodwork and recommended that she go for an ultrasound. I picked her up and was charged almost $300 for the sedation and bloodwork. Thinking that she had, and I quote, this "life threatening" infection I took her to an emergency vet facility in Barton Heights. Long story short, there was no infection. She was simply at the tail end of being in heat. I asked about the once every 6 months timeline for dogs going into heat again. The vet at Barton Heights immediately said that it is not uncommon for younger dogs under 3 years of age to go into heat a little more often. So there was nothing odd about my dog having gone into heat again. Unfortunately, this visit to Barton Heights cost me about $500. So I spent roughly $800 for the day due to a ridiculous misdiagnosis, and my dog still isn't spayed. Also, you don't even get to see or speak to the vet. You speak to the person at the front desk who relays all of the information as if the vet is somehow OZ and can't be seen. Only reason I went here was because I was scheduling the spay through Friends of Animals. I know Bangor is a bit of of an out of the way town, but if you can take you pet somewhere else I would recommend doing so. Driving an extra 20-30 minutes is worth getting more competent care.

I have been going to doctor Kelly's for over 15 maybe even twenty years now. She is so good with animals. I have every confidence in her whenever I bring one of my babies to see her. Her rates are very fair. And her staff is fantastic

Kelly and Bree are such sweet ladies. They truly do care about your pets and your pet isn't "just a number" here, I don't have enough good things to say about them!
