I was very disappointed with my experience today at Jakes Flea Market. I have been there about 4 times this year which isn't much because I travel around to many flea markets each year. However, my experience here was met with rudeness and complete disrespect. As a seller I have been to many flea markets and an respectful of people and the grounds rules. Most of the time rules and regulations are handed to you on a piece of paper which is your receipt after you pay for a spot. This one does not give that nor do they have clear instructions or rules as to how to setup. When we arrived today we were told the gate of enter does not move back until the sun comes up..this is the 1st sunday of daylight savings time so usually it is already light out when we get there. Today it was not. After paying for a spot there to sell, My husband had to walk boxes and tables over to our spot in the dark with many places he could have fallen and hurt himself. About an hour in I was in a panic trying to find an inside bathroom location and was told I could not pull my car out of it spot and to walk to the nearest indoor bathroom which I didn't know existed at that time. A few hours later, we decided it was time to leave as we were no longer making any money. The sellers next to us were leaving and so my husband pulled his car in their paid for empty spot to load up the car a d leave and we were approached by the owner or manager very rude and proceeded to threaten us unless we pay him 12$ for an already paid for empty spot just to load the cars up and leave! I have never been treated with this kind of disrespect and intimidation at a flea market. Needless to say I doubt I will be returning to this location as a vendor. The other ve does were kind and some even came up to me after the disgraceful interaction with the owner/manager and told me they to have had very rude and intimidating interactions with him and his wife. (His wife was kind to me) It sad to see a great spot like this to be run by such unethical, unprofessional, rude, people. Treat others how you want to be treated. Don't act like people are mind readers and when people are new to a place explain things. We had 3 seperate conversations sir, 1st was about the gate not moving until the sun was up, 2nd was me having a panic attack and needing to find a bathroom, 3rd was about when and how we can pack up and leave. But you acted like you told me all the information in the 1st concersation. Which you clearly didn't.However, spot prices are very reasonable. If your a vendor, beware unless you like paying someone to treat you disrespectfully. If your a buyer you will sure find a good deal there. Vendors are friendly.

What can I say? It's a flea-market. It has all the flea-markety things that one would expect. Very large, very busy.Best to get in and out early. Around noon, the traffic starts getting heavy at the exit, and there's only the one exit, which complicates things. Also, the ATM wouldn't read my card, and there's nothing wrong with the card. So bring the cash you want to spend with you, or you may be disappointed. If you're in the area and you want to flea-market it up on a Sunday, this is the place to do it.

This venue is awesome! The day starts early at Jake's. Lots of people selling unique items. Each week, there is a theme like toys or fishing, etc..., but you can find interesting, vintage, and nostalgic items anytime. There is plenty of free parking and great food! If you want to sell items, the cost per table is reasonable. Check out their website for details.

We arrived at 430am to set up and the place was already packed. Lots of vendors selling items. We did fairly well considering all the competition. We like that spots are reasonable to rent and you can park your vehicle in your spot for easy unloading and loading.

This was a great Sunday morning family outing. You have to get there early. They pack up quickly. It is mostly outside but they do have one section with inside shopping. There is some overhead sunshade for some of it. Good finds for sure!

I go there a few times every Summer. I get really good deals on household products like freezer bags, paper towels etc. I also found brand new power tools , locks, and a tape measure. I love this place. Now that the weather is warm I want to go twice a month.

Lots to see. New and old. Large assortment of vendors. Takes a good bit if time to walk through. Didn't get lunch there. The food was very expensive. Opted for a diner down the road a bit. Get there early! Parked in grass. It could have been cut for the weekend though.

Jake's is a big market. Sunday is the best day to find anything. Lots of vendors. All nice people. Go early. They could have a better selection of food available. Perhaps have a food truck on the property. ?
