Bought a truck from them a few years back. Good Deal, Good Price. Bought the "Paint/Rust Warranty". Wheel wells rusted out (very common on that particular truck.) They fixed it once. Wheel wells rusted out again (they probably did the body work as cheap as possible.) They refused to fix the truck a second time. I was referred to the GM multiple times. He never took my call or returned my message. If you buy a vehicle from them, skip the warranties. They will not honor them. I wouldn't advise anyone buy a vehicle from them.They also gave me a hard time out changing out some brake pads when the brakes squealed 2 days after buying the truck.

Dan was my service contact for this visit. He was courteous, caring, and attentive to my needs. I walk with cane and have difficulty getting around. Dan was patient with me and helped me out of my chair when it came time to check out. He is a credit to the dealership. C. Harper is lucky to have him in their service department.

Our salesman Rick was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and worked with us. Rick was an excellent sales person. The other sales people also seemed to be very friendly. We started out to look at one vehicle and ended upgrading. Love my car at this point!

This would be my third time purchasing a vehicle from C. Harper Chevrolet in Belle Vernon. I test drove a 2017 Jeep Renegade in May of 2023. We pulled out onto route 51 and I immediately heard a whistle noise. The sunroof wasn't sealed 100% so wind was whistling through. I mentioned it and the salesman Jimmy Lamb said "oh we will definitely get that fixed for you". I signed the paperwork and Jimmy said "bring it back in 30 days for us to fix that". The next day, the motor on the sunroof dies and I have to manually pull it shut. So now I can't even open the sunroof to override the whistling noise.30 days later I come back and they keep it for a couple days and turns out they didn't fix the sunroof leak or motor and tell me it'll cost upwards of $8K. So I tell my salesman that service said they can't repair it even though I was reassured it would be fixed. Fast forward to me speaking to the used car manager Joe there and he says "that should have been fixed before you left that day". Fast forward to speaking with said manager Joe a week later and he says "I never said that".I retain an attorney and surprise! They want to fix the issue and cut me a check to fix the sunroof. Well, since the sunroof issue, multiple more issues kept coming up like interior plastic covers coming off, speakers being blown out, and the hood release being broken and not releasing because they left an old part in the engine compartment and broke the hood release cable.So C. Harper agrees to take the Jeep back and give me the money I put down and half of what I paid monthly to the bank. They refused to pay any of what I spent on insurance. My attorney told me this was a good deal. So I go to drop it off today and they give me a check for $1,128.00. Turns out they're putting a majority of the settlement amount towards the bank. The finance manager Osborne at no point in time apologized to me for the piece of shit car they sold me and at no point in time did the general manager walk into Osborne's office to shake my hand or apologize for their lies and deceptive ways, especially the used car manager Joe lying to me even though the phone lines are recorded. Should be noted I did watch the manager walk by at one point with Osborne and he shot a nasty look my way.Their managers are cowards for not saying sorry and I've already told anyone who listen about C. Harper and I've heard plenty of horror stories about them. They will NEVER get my business again.

Looking for a used car? Buyer beware! Bought a 1997 Camaro SS from these guys. Super low mileage car and looked great. Reggie the salesman was great and that's where it stopped. Purchased the vehicle drove 15 minutes up the road and the check engine light came on. I immediately turned around and drove back to the dealership and requested a refund for the vehicle. I was denied a refund from the sales manager and told they would fix the vehicle. This is not what I wanted but what choice did I have at this point... Multiple repairs were made at no cost to me and the car was delivered to my house. Not 30 mi later and the check engine light is back on. I'm no stranger to purchasing vehicles and this was definitely the worst transaction I've ever had..... would not recommend. If you're buying a vehicle "as is" from here please think twice about it.

Our salesman was Seth and he was amazing. He was polite and very professional. He made buying a car a positive experience.The finance guy however was extremely rude. I opted out of extended warranty on my brand new car. He was very nasty to me. When I was signing the papers he was throwing them across the table with malice. I obtained my own car loan from PNC Bank he made snarky comments about that. He even had the audacity to ask my credit score which is excellent.

Best car buying experience in my life. Jimmy Lamb was outstanding. From the first call with Jimmy we knew we were in great hands. Jimmy was responsive, honest, and was not pushy. He made us feel like family. I drove about 2.5 hours to pick up the car and it was worth every minute of the drive. Jimmy had the car ready, and helped us take care of business before arriving.When dealing with Jared in finance, he was great, too. I expected it to be a difficult process but was pleasantly surprised to learn differently. It was very straightforward and simple. Other dealerships can learn lots from this place. The entire experience was the best and I’m 59 so that’s saying tons.I love my car! Thanks again. I’ll be back for my next purchase. Just hope Jimmy and Jared are still there ?

Sale went very well. Rick Palonis dealt fair and went above and beyond. Took me to the bank to collect a cashiers check. Helped with my insurance also, as I was transferring across state lines. I'm pleased with our dealing. The finance manager, Joe Osbourne was thorough and by the numbers. It was a pleasant transaction.

My husband and I had such a pleasant experience at C. Harper. Jimmy was so knowledgeable and honest and that’s something you don’t come by very often. This is also our first Chevy purchase and I think after our time last week and the fact that I’m obsessed with my Blazer, we will certainly be a lifelong customer.

On 7/15/23, I found myself unexpectedly shopping for a new car. I had no idea what I wanted and had a little bit of a special situation, so I called C. Harper and spoke with Seth. Right away, he was friendly and listened as I explained my situation and asked me when I could get there. I stopped in and he was very patient-basically walked the lot with me and answered any questions that I had about the vehicles that did spark my interest. I test drove a used Buick Encore GX and loved it, saying that if I could get into a brand-new one at the payment I wanted, it would be a done deal. Within 2 hours, my new car was being driven out of the showroom. EVERYONE there was friendly, from start to finish. I find car buying to be intimidating as a single female, as well as stressful, and I felt so at ease during the whole process. A little too comfortable in fact, seeing as I excitedly punched the poor guy from finance in the arm when he showed me my payment??♀️I had been with a different car manufacturer for the last 10 years and when I bought my previous car in 2021, made the statement that I think I had found my forever dealership. Unfortunately, as more and more problems with that car arose (it was purchased brand-new), that feeling dissipated. I am pretty confident that I got it right this time around and found my forever dealership.If you are looking for a new or used car, don't pass C. Harper up. While it is a business and they obviously want to sell cars, I genuinely feel like they will do whatever they can to make sure you leave happy.
