cfsbank Event Center

Venues & Event Spaces
Hours: Cfsbank Event Center, owned by Black Bear Sports Group, Inc., is a versatile 65,000-square-foot facility located in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. It features an NHL-sized ice rink that transforms into a dry event space during spring and summer, hosting a variety of events such as bands, concerts, shows, sporting events, expos, trade shows, and community programs. The venue offers multiple spaces, including the arena, community room, meeting rooms, party rooms, and an outdoor area. Supported by Bubba’s Kitchen + Bar, a full-service sports pub, and Bubba's Express, the center provides food and catering options. Visitors enjoy watching the ice being prepared from Bubba’s Kitchen and often praise the good food and service, especially recommending appetizers like zucchini and burgers. The center also hosts family-friendly events like circuses, though some note that food prices are high and quality can vary. Changes since the ownership transfer include shorter free skate sessions, less frequent ice cleaning, and the need for online reservations. The ice rink is functional but somewhat basic, with minimal updates and features like boards built into the ground and no glass in penalty boxes, though it remains a decent spot for hockey and skating. The attached restaurant offers a nice view of the ice, adding to the overall experience.
