The manager of the market is an angel! While visiting Penn sgtate from NY, my son and I got gas, and then my battery died. It was 5 degrees outside1 The kind yung man working at the gas offered cables and told me to get the mgr (I feel awful I cannot recall his name!) He immediately offered to help, even calling his brother on facetime to ensure he jumped my car correctly. He would not take any tips! Please give this place your business-there are still kind people in this world!!!

Always a super grocery store to stop at as I travel from West Virginia to New Jersey. I love all the variety and local foods and prepped food. Super clean and well stocked everything , including the beautiful produce. Even ethnic foods and local favorites. The fresh fish department always has jumbo shrimp and a variety of fish fillets.... sometimes on-sale. I always stop for some prepared fish or scallops. Today, 10/23/2025 I found some lump crab at a reasonable price and I'll make crab cakes at home in WV. What a big variety of salads and fresh deli meats, along with prepared foods. All are well made and delicious. Pick up some wine or beer from their large variety. There's an attached liquor store and gas station, too. My car just automatically exits the highway for the Bellefonte exit and heads right here every time! You'll love this store. It's my favorite supermarket of all time!

Visited the store on Sep 9th 2024 @9:55pm. Went to beer cafe to purchase a beer, lady said she closed the register. When I said that I drove fast just to get here before 10pm and I made it but you saying me that you closed the register. I said you guys supposed to be open till 10pm. She ignored me and walked away. Don't know her name but she is a hero:)

I like Weis it's always clean it's always organized and most of the staff are very nice. It's hard to shop there when you can buy alot of the same products at Walmart a bit cheaper. I don't ever go to Walmarts deli or produce I buy that at Weis but cereal and things I buy at Walmart. I know they have to compete they aren't a conglomerate like Walmart but if they were to have cheaper products I would only shop there. They do have a points system but I only use a particular gas for my car but for other people it can be helpful. The cashier tole me you can buy eggs and milk with points so maybe I can use them for that. The points def don't get you what they once did but it's still better than nothing. I like Weis I always have and Walmart becomes more ghetto by the day so I find myself going to Weis more and more.

I stand by my original review of the store! It never disappoints!
Very clean, organized, ,good sales, the workers are polite and they have things in this store that I love that I cant find anywhere else! I've been there several times and becoming a frequent shopper!

If you're an avid cook who cares about the way your food tastes, avoid this store. "Fresh" meat will be put out with a sell by date 2 days after the pack date, and if it hits that date it will be absolutely rancid. All Weis stores in the area have this problem though, so it must be their supplier. Every other grocery chain in the area has sell by dates 1-2 weeks out from the package date, and is usually still okay for a day or two after, but the low quality garbage Weis is selling is unusable unless you use it on the packed date. Even then, it just doesn't taste good most of the time, especially the beef. And don't even think about fish- fish only smells or tastes fishy if it's gone bad, but that's the standard for the Weis seafood counter.
Also, my wife hates coming here alone because of there are several creepy male employees who seemingly go out of their way to harass any lone women in the store.

Visited the store bakery at 8:10 AM on June 7, 2024. Asked about servings per cake and when a cake could be ordered. Bought 2 cakes at $28.99 a piece. Was informed the cakes could have names written on them. When I presented the cakes it was as if I asked for a special request. The cake with red roses and green accents was written on with pink. If the store wants to offer services they should offer them without attitude.
