Whitehall General Store is a cool, quaint little country store with the feel of an old general store, including hardwood floors that creek. It is an awesome place to grab amazingly delicious hoagies and subs, considered by many to be the best in the area and even the world, with specific praise for The Whitehall Special and The Viva. The store offers a great selection of chips, a nice drink variety, dessert options, and fresh bakery items. You can also get fresh sliced meat and cheeses from the deli, salads, a few groceries, and even games. It is an easy stop to grab a picnic lunch, with sometimes weekend chicken barbecue. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, and the food is excellent for a nice price. It is a must-visit spot in Mifflin County.

Great deli with fresh ingredients & large portions. The employees are always very nice as well. Plenty of local treats, meats, cheese & candies to choose from.
