We stopped by since there aren't many options in the area. The store and especially the restrooms were completely filthy. Everything was quite expensive. Bought 2 different kinds of beef sticks from the refrigerator and they must have been old. They were grey inside and really dry, not edible. I'm sorry to have to post this review.

For being in the middle of no where, pricing is great on pretty much everything in the store. We stop everytime we are out camping, friendly staff.

Cute little country store.. and gas station. just about anything you need for camping ... and souvenirs from elk country... it's a must stop and see what they have...you might leave with something you didn't know you needed ?

It's light years ahead of where it was a year or two ago. I understand that there is new ownership and it shows. Been going to the area for around 30 years - it's getting back to greatness in a time where the area is becoming overly commercialized.

Definitely could use to be cleaned they have a restaurant there and still unable to find help to run it so there's not really anywhere to eat so if you go camping make sure you're prepared to cook all your meals unless you want to go to the hotel for lunch or dinner. However they do have food trucks coming into the store this year but they're not allowed to sell drinks cuz they sell drinks in the store

I've been coming here my whole life. It is just a convenience store and gas station now. Also now called "Elk Crossing General Store." Good supply of basic necessities, BZ apparel and accessories, and ice cream. They carry Boylan sodas which I love. Prices are high because it's the only place nearby to buy groceries or anything really. They also sell alcohol. Wish the restaurant would open back up!

When you’re in Benezette the store is the place to go if you need anything you would need from a convenience store, including gas and propane. Convenience is key here because you have to travel around 40 minutes away for something similar. The people in the store have always been nice to us and we’ve been there bunches. Another fine local small business to support!

A sight for thirsty and hungry eyes. With no cell service, gas or food for miles and miles in these remote mountains this was a welcome oasis. The bbq food truck in front has some delicious offerings.
