Decent prices for booze, but the checkout experience is heinous. You can only use one till, and it is usually manned by the most miserable Union slacker you can imagine outside of the government or PA's delightful State Store system. Go someplace else for alcohol, like Jersey.

On 5/24/2022, I reserved a pick up order. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS ACME AGAIN...or quite possibly any acme EVER! I ordered a decent amount of fruit....3 lbs of strawberries, a bag of avocados, watermelon, and other items that are not a part of this complaint. So, 1 or 2 soft strawberries throughout 3 containers wouldn't be an issue.....but when EVERY SINGLE STRAWBERRY WAS MOLD, all 7 avocados were completely rotten, and my watermelon was completely rotten and mold inside....WE HAVE A PROBLEM! I find it very inconvenient to pull this fruit out to begin preparing it for a party and all of it was MOLD/ROTTEN!
This is not the first issue of out of date items at this store. A little over a month ago, I bought a jar a miracle whip. When I went to open the jar, it was expired well over a year. I took the jar back to the store the ignorant woman at customer service told me to go get a new one... NOT A SORRY, NOT EVEN OFFER A REFUND. So I go get another jar, paying attention to the date- EXPIRED! So I bring that as well as a in-date jar back to customer service. Do you think I was thanked for doing someone else's job, NOPE! Handed me the in-date jar with my receipt and sent me on my way.
DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DELI DEPT AND IGNORANCE OF THE INCOMPITENT PEOPLE WORKING IN THERE.
While I understand,mistakes happen......the lack of care and concern at this store is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
PS: Spoke to corporate and got a refund for the fruit. But that does not excuse any of this.

Disappointed, they don't have all the sale items hardley in stock everytime I go. The other Bensalem location is much better stocked, this one is just closer to where I live.

I love this store it's a small location but they always have what I need self checkout is super great easy in easy out. My only complaint when ringing my stuff up some employees tend to look at me like I'm going to steal or not ring something up. Don't know if it's because I'm biracial half black half white or if the my just don't trust people at self checkout. Other then that store is fantastic.

Hey guys! What's up with your location at Bristol Pike, in Bensalem?? Aside from an employee on the ONLY motorized cart there (that was broken, btw), there were NO ADDITIONAL CARTS ANYWHERE!! I tried to locate a person in your Customer Service Area, but there was NONE TO BE FOUND!! As a disabled person, I am deeply disappointed in this lack of professionalism and customer service, and will NEVER set foot in this store location again!!

Very rude. Refused to sell me beer because they couldn't scan my license. I'm 37. I have a PA Drivers license, PA gaming license, and a military ID but apparently that wasn't enough. I will not shop here again.

Well I'm not shocked that this Acme only has 1 star. The manager Emory, is not a customer person & when there is an issue, he really does not even want to hear from the customer. He would only say to me to keep my voice down (I was not yelling but yes, I was upset!) & that he doesnt know anything about his shelve tagging (the UPC sticky tags). Um you are the manager!! How do you not know every inch of your store?? Dont the managers basically work up through the stores as employees so that they understand the day to day operations? It does not matter what time of day I come into this store, there is always only ONE register open for large orders & they use the customer service side desk as the 10 items or less & NO SELF SERVICE! So you always know regardless of how many items, you will be spending more than a half hour in here! No wonder that the store only has a handful of customers at any given time- because it is one of the worse stores around the Bensalem/ Philadelphia area!!! Oh & let's not forget how "political correct" they insist on being when there is an issue too- when I said to the mgr that at his age I expect some customer service & empathy, it turned into, oh you're gonna talk about my age now? You dont know how old I am. He must've said that 3 times, as if I said something about his race. It was ridiculous & it felt like I was talking to a 12 year old. And after I said man, you people are crazy, the 75 year old cashier went, what did you say? Oh now you're calling me crazy? Emory (calling to him in a sing song voice) Emory, now I'm crazy. Like did these people EVER hear of a term of expression? Man, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. They are no longer getting my money. They are lucky that TJ Maxx opened up next door because it gave them a 2nd chance at life but looking at the reviews & what I went through today, it wont last long! I will drive down the street to Walmart, Sam's Club or Shoprite for now on!! They dont like my money apparently!
