My daughters, both got a cut and style today at the Neshaminy Jean Madeline! I cannot say enough positive things about her experience. The stylists, Claire and Emily, were wonderful with them. They spoke directly to them, and then confirmed everything with me. Their cuts are absolutely beautiful! Five stars for sure! We will be back!!!

Even after the appointment, had to wait 20 mins.Apart from this, she made me stand for an hour till she cuts my hair.But if I talk about the hair cut, it was really good, loved it.

I have in the past given thus school 5 stars. My experience the last two days have been horrendous.I have been going to this school for over 12 years. I have always been treated with respect and dignity. Yesterday was an exception.On Thursday, I had my hair highlighted and grey roots covered. However, when I was done, my hair was way darker than when I had started! The root coverage was wonky and way darker than expected. The girl took 4.5 hours. I told her when I got there on Thursday that I had to leave at 2:30. At 2:30, I left with my hair drenched and dripping. Note that when I entered, my hair was at my waist. I asked for 5 inches to be cut off. My hair is now JUST BELOW MY SHOULDERS!Later that day, when dried, I saw the color aberrations. I called the school and asked for an appointment the next day to have it fixed. They said a teacher would fix it, and the earliest time I could return was noon on Friday. The thought of wasting more hours was devastating, but darker hair after paying $160 was unacceptable. Also, since a teacher would be fixing it, 2.5 hours would probably work.However, they assigned me to a student who had to be shown how to do the foils! The right side of my head was started at 12:30 and completed at 1:50. The left side was then started and completed at 2:25. I have to leave to pick up my grandson from camp at 2:30. The teachers knew this. They refused to help the student. They did not assign anyone else to help her. Therefore the right side of my head which sat for an hour is a totally different color than the left which only had five minutes to set. I had begged the teachers for help and they BLAMED ME for pressuring their students. Several times, I was belittled for my expectations of their students. Previous students over the years must have had better teachers because this was the worst experience emotionally plus the students not of the quality of past years.I have defended this school to other people online when they criticized their experiences. I hope the school administrators will view these pictures and comment. I am out over a hundred dollars. It will take a long time to regain my length. And I look horrendous.

This is the worst salon I ever visited. They made mistakes and damaged my hair. They used products I did not consent to. My blonde hair became orange, black with many other brass like shades. I was charged more than double for their mistakes. There is no manager on duty. I spoke with a lead and she was rude, didn’t even wanna come to front desk. I was told she usually sits in the back and wouldn’t come assist me. I told them I’m not paying until I speak to her. She finally came and I explained everything. After an hour of back and forth, she gave me a little discount and told me to come back for a color correction at no cost. When I went back I was charged more than double the price and my hair looked worse. They charged me for products they used because of their mistakes which I did not consent to. There is no real manager on duty to assist. I called the director Danielle more than 20 times and left many voicemails. She didn’t even have the courtesy to return my calls. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care and how unprofessionally this issue was treated. After many times of calling, I was informed by the receptionist to dispute it with my bank. She said the manger probably won’t reach out to me to resolve this matter. I am extremely upset, disappointed that a business would handle issues such unethically without resolving them. I will never go there again nor do I recommend this place to anyone.

My hair is very much my crown and I told Cass the hardships I was already having with it, I had lost hair due to DevaCurl damage, I told her that it reminded me of my mother who passed away and that I wanted to preserve it. I hadn’t had a haircut in 12 years. Requested long layers, and Cass said mid layers would work better, well she failed to mention that ALL my hair would be above shoulder length and for some reason took off all the hair next to my ear on the right side. I was already emotional and tearing up during the beginning of the cut so I thought I was just over analyzing due to stress. I have a hard time speaking up for myself so I still tipped because I thought I was wrong. But I am not, this is not the hair I wanted or requested and I am deeply hurt. I would not recommend to go here unless you are in dire need which I thought I was. Mental health is no joke and we are own worst critics so please appreciate your self and hair before you make a mistake like me.

Great customer service. The men and women at Jean Madeline are really passionate about their new profession. I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind they are learning… so let them take their time (if needed). Love this place!!!

I recently went to Catharine. C for a blowout, she was very thorough and asked what kind of “ Finished look” I wanted, I told her my hair was flat & she recommended the volume blowout and did not disappoint!I felt GREAT! She asked if I wanted any product in my hair as well, which I appreciated. Will be back for her work!

I came here to get an ash caramel balayage but it came out golden instead. I had previous box dye the first time they told me that they were unable to do it and that they could only do a color correction but that the second time I came back they could. The second time I came it turned out way more golden/ yellow than I expected and they said the third time I came that it could be done. Not returning again they clearly cant do ash!

I asked to bring back my natural color without touching the roots, so I had the result I wanted and I'm satisfied by what Faith (the lady who took care of me), she did a good job, she was nice .I would like to add the teacher was also very knowledgeable and nice.I will be back .. Thank you guys. I liked my experience within Jean Madeleine Saloon.

Worst experience ever!!!! What a disaster to say the least. That is what my shirt looked like after the color application. The cape didn’t even cover my back!!! ?My hair was not clipped up while processing. “They’re students. It’s just a shirt” is what I was told before I walked out. This should never have happened, student or not. Also confused about how the lady checking her work didn’t notice my shirt?? I am very dissatisfied and will definitely never be coming back and I do not recommend anyone coming here.
