I have had an IRA CD with this bank since 2011. It's maturing now and I need to transfer it to another institution. They made me travel 30 miles roundtrip in January to meet with them in person to ascertain I was the owner. Today they made me go back there in person only to say that the other institution had to initiate the transaction. When I work with other banks they have mechanisms for verifying one's identity remotely.

I went in the bank to simply get a check and a money order and what should have been a quick 10 minute in and out transaction considering i was the only customer in the branch turned out to be 1 hour. There were no tellers @ the front I waited for about 5 minutes before someone sitting in their office with no customers came out and assisted. I had to prove my drivers license, green card, plus a utility bill to prove that it was my account. I have spoken with several people who working in banking and they have concluded that I may have been racially profiled. Now after the back and forth with them asking for proof of ID’s then finally coming back and asking me to pull down my mask, the representative offered to waive the processing fees I guess because she felt like I was about to go off on them. I remained calm and left peacefully, but I am removing all my funds from your account and I will tell everyone about this experience.

These people are super friendly if tour nice to them there super nice to you. Great relationship for a bank. Business is business but respect is always respect

As a former employee of M & T Bank that loved my time there I am extremely disappointed in the service of this branch. I was left stranded without my card after having used it the night before when I was to be getting on a flight within hours. I travel out of the country very frequently and they did not seem to care about the situation they put me in. The reason I was given was that they had shut it off without notice to send me a new one when my previous card was not expiring any time soon I received no notice because they hadn't properly updated my address and did not see fit to contact me when it was sent back to them. They offered nothing to help me other than to send me a new card which I would have to pay for. Anthony Firrantello offered no sympathy to my situation and stated it was my fault. The service I experienced certainly doesn't uphold the values M & T claims to hold and should be taken seriously and looked into.

Worst banking experience I've ever had. It's unfortunate that my employer deals with M&T because I would love to never have to deal with them again. They do not honor their own checks.

This M & T Bank location is awesome ! They have helped me with everything from My bank accounts to my business accounts ! The staff is very professional ! The tellers have impeccable service and are very friendly ! If you know what you are doing they will be able to help you. Please ignore the other reviews because I have gone through this bank for almost all of there services and they where of great assistance !

Worst bank 4 wasted trips because i feel they dont wanna work. I lost my address card then got a temp card for 10 days came back but i was here 15 minutes before closing but the guy looked at my paperwork and said everything was good. So here i am again just to hear them say no its not good because banking wont accept my 10 day temp paper which makes no sense because it is a legal paper and on top of that 2 days ago you said it was fine. Now either someone dont wanna do their job or someone dont know what they are doing. 4 trips i have made to this bank hours of my time this is the worst bank i have ever delt with and the reason i came here was because my mom used to bank here but i think its a horriable bank with horrible workers.

Terrible bank that makes up rules based on whatever will allow them to keep you from your money. Customer service dept supervisor said their customer complaint dept doesn't investigate complaints, nor follow up. They didn't even get my name or any of the details of the complaint. Gave me a physical address to write to. Many online reviews describe underhanded practices. The customer just doesn't matter to this bank.
