Moved back to Pittsburgh and needed to set up with a new bank. I chose Citizens bc there were so many branches. I thought it would be convenient. Setting up my account took 2 hours, bc the representative spelled my name wrong. He told me he was able to transfer all the money from my old bank to my new bank. He did not do that properly, so I did it myself via venmo. Only to find out that my debit card does not work. Went back into branch and I've been sitting here for an hour while they try to make my debit card work. No luck so far. They also said they ordered me checks, didn't happen. They also said they could set up my direct deposit, didn't happen. There are a lot of upset people here with problems and only 2 bank reps working. Have not been able to access my money for 2 weeks. Will be looking into a new bank asap. This is unsettling.

My mother has a checking account, an IRA CD and a MasterCard that is always paid on time. 99% of her bills are paid via auto debit, something Citizen's Bank should love! She also has advanced dementia and lives in Memory Support in a South Hills Nursing Home.

Don't follow the advice I did and establish a banking relationship with Citizensbank, particularly at this branch. I tried to reach my personal banker and was unsuccessful. Eventually, I received a response email from Wes Morgan which chastised me for calling him out of a meeting scheduled downtown for several weeks. I was told, ironically, it was a meeting of "personal" bankers. I was also asked if I treated my own customers the way I treated them. I think they have a culture which does not understand which of us is the customer. Vince promised me a call back from he or Wes, but I didn't hear from them. They eventually emailed. Apparently that is the same as a call.

Genuinely happy to see me. I like the speed and efficiency of both tellers and drive through
