I have shopped here and used their curbside pickup. I like this store because they offer a wide selection of products at reasonable prices. If I need a variety of products this is my go to market.

This grocery store has it all, including a bar with an incredible selection of beers that are very well priced! I don't think you could go to a different bar and get the same beers on draft for any less. This flagship-style Giant Eagle store has a bit 'more' than typical stores -- when it comes to specialty food sections, events hosted in-store, and holiday/seasonal merchandise. Yet, they still have all of the typical goods you'd look to buy in a Giant Eagle.

So I am rating this place as just ok. The reason for it is their self check outs. You can only use them if you are a advantage card member or whatever their card is. When I visit this place a couple of times a year I always forget that when I get into a self check out line. Then have to move. Very inconvenient to do this and other than shoplifting I can't see the purpose of it. Other than that good selection.

Very nice grocery store- delicious bakery and great dry cleaning service too. Fun to shop here because I always find new things to try. I have been using their curbside pickup for years -never had a mistake on my pick up; frozen foods are always frozen and the like with cold foods. The butchers really know what they are doing and are very helpful.Plenty of parking and they do offer charging stations if you have an electric car.

Be careful with their seafood. I purchased cod which isn't cheap. I put in frig and baked it 2 days later. It tasted awful, apparently bad. Had to throw it all out.And they haven't had texas toast loaves for a long time. They constantly move things around and you can't find what you're looking for. They've stopped carrying things I bought on a regular basis. They send coupons in the mail and every time they don't have the items in the store.

I shopped here for a solid year.Glorified Giant Eagle with average quality, high priced, poor value (BUT HIGH PROFITS): prepared foods, bakery, candy, etc.Parking lot is dangerous to both people and vehicles.Employees are the worst. They are rude, lazy, unmotivated, the ones under 30 always have ear buds in, those over 30 spend more time talking than working and the cashiers are either hung over or still drunk (only way to explain their indifferent rudeness or outright nastiness). Managers are spineless worms or obese loud mouth Yinzers wanting to fight any customers who demand service equivalent to the prices being charged. There is one notable exception: the young lady with blond hair (usually up) with glasses who works at the customer service counter. She is superb, and I'm not kidding she should be the General Manager of the store.Giant Eagle, Market District, Market District Express, getGo, etc.: it's quite clear the family is cashing out. The first-ever non family member CEO is in place, the corporation makes much more profits in Columbus, Cleveland and Indianapolis than Pittsburgh. I would not be surprised if Kroger, or some other national supermarket chain, buys them out. That would be a reason to bring in someone who has worked for other corporations to facilitate the sale. And as always the hillbilly Yinzers settle for less and act like they have the absolute best.

This is a very good store, been going here for a long time. Careful with the deli counter though. If you like Land O Lakes American cheese, ask for it from the counter. Don't buy it from the deli-in-a-rush case, they cheat in that case They label it LOL cheese but it isn't, it is their rubbery store label cheese.

My regular visits to SH Market Place usually cost me 200 or 300 dollars. Almost weekly. Tonight I spent 200 and when I approached the checkout only 1 (ONE) full service lane was open. There were at least 10 people waiting. What’s up with this game of “self service” which I think should actually be LACK OF SERVICE. We pay enough for this and it’s not right that we should be expected to do the checkouts as well. Man you’re store properly.

The layout was a little bit different than what I am used to, but it had a good flow to move you through the store.I've never used the scan and go feature before. I've known about it since around when it came out - just haven't really felt my small shopping trips really warranted it. But anyways, the friend I was with used it. And it really did make a world of difference. It was a family sized trip and it kind of makes sense to do it this way. Cold things are in the same place and end up in the same bag as soon as you scan it, same with meats, hot, and room temperature things. Not doing double work by sorting on the checkout belt.I still don't know if I will use it for myself, my grocery shopping trips rarely disqualify me from using the express lane.

It's served my grocery needs well for the last 3 years, but if you need to speak with someone at customer service to have a problem fixed, god speed. You'll wait 20 minutes behind people wasting their money on the lottery only to be told the worker can't help you.
