The store at 5100 Library Road is where I get my prescriptions filled. Most of the time, I'm happy with them, but there have been a couple of times that the clerks were just awful, including one who managed to "lose" my debit card. I called them less than 20 minutes later, but it couldn't be found which reinforced my opinion that the young man took it - he kept the rewards car and debit card separate and I couldn't see what he was doing with it. I drove down the road to the Library PNC and realized that it was gone! The woman I spoke too was somewhat less than helpful, but on subsequent visits I haven't seen him again. Same with the nasty woman with huge boxy black glass frames.

I think Rite Aid must be rebranding or something because this appears to be a much newer store and the exterior looks fantastic and fresh and the interior is (for the most part) clean as a whistle.Maybe we just came in on the right day, but we scored the candle deal of a lifetime - it was a buy one get two free. They were single-wick, 18oz candles for $10 each. We also got set of 32 holiday cards for (I think) over 50% off the original price of almost $20. Mind you, we literally came in on Thanksgiving with BF just around the corner. Also the specials to my knowledge were only for rewards members only. The atmosphere was pretty cute in some end caps and corners as they’re getting ready for the holiday season!

I went in to get a flu shot as it says walk ins excepted on website. The female pharmacist was rude and refused to give us a flu shot! They lost our business that day!

They incorrectly dispensed the quantity of pills for my prescription and all he could say was "I'm so sorry" . No resolution except for ME. to find (mayne) a location of a rite aid where I am. He wouldn't even try to help. He told ME to call my Dr office (because of THEIR mistake). He told me to use ANY pharmacy but when I asked if that pharmacy would accept my insurance, he said " I'm sure they would " yet Walgreens and CVS in Pgh dont!don't!! I first called and pharmacy, no one EVER answered the phone. After 10 minutes I called back to the main store and Barbara transfered me so he would finally answer. 20 minutes later, NO resolution and ITS MY FAULT AND MY PROBLEM.GO ELSEWHERE!!!So you respond and say SO SORRY. but how are you going to fixit??

Riteaid hires the most incompetent people ever and expects them run run a retail store. Managers don’t even know store / online policies. I purchased few items online, I called the 800# and local store before driving at this location to return. Obviously the clerk doesn’t know how to process online return so Manager was called. Manager informed me that he cannot accept online purchased items into the store, not to mention that he got angry when I mentioned that I’ve called before I came here.No wonder Amazon and other online companies are doing well due to excellent customer service.Sorry I’m taking my business elsewhere!!

I live right across the street from here so its easy for me to pick up my prescription. Staff seems pretty normal and does their job accordingly. No complaints at all.
