Went there for an oil change . They sent me an email for a $55.00 oil change. I know my gmc sierra takes 6quarts of oil as I normally take my truck to star gmc for my oil changes. When the oil change was nearly complete the guy at the counter told me my brake pads had minimum life left on them. And he tried to sell me a brake job. As I know how to do brake pads I declined his offer. Again he told me I had minimum life left on the pads and offered to replace them. He than gave me a $91.00 bill for the oil change telling me my truck takes 9 quarts of oil. As I have the owners ManueI the truck . I looked up the oil capacity. Which states 6 quarts. I also found the receipt from my previous oil change done by star GMC 6 quarts. Do not go to this place for anything ,they are smooth talking crooks. also on the way home I stopped at auto zone store and bought brake pads, the next day I took the tires off to inspect the brakes. As I suspected they had at least another years life on them. I will never purchase anything from pep boys again

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I came here last October and got new tires placed. During the repairs, they told me my brakes needed to be replaced as well as my rotors. Charged me $1896.00 for all the repairs, which is fine if they had done the repairs correctly. I picked up my car and immediately heard a high pitched shrieking sound when I reversed the car only. I called the shop and spoke to Sixto, and he told me this was a common finding after getting new brakes placed. I found that odd but trusted his judgement. After two-three weeks of the shrieking, I knew something was wrong. I called the shop again and they told me to bring the car in. I brought the car in and they took it apart,and Sixto G told me that the technician that had worked on my car initially put in my brakes wrong. They fixed it for me, so I thought… Fast forward, I took my car into lexus for maintenance, and lo and behold, Pepboys never put a piece back into my car when reinstalling the brakes they had screwed up the first time. Lexus had to order the part and said the last person that installed the brakes didnt put this specific lexus part in and it was crucial for the car to have it. I have had so many headaches getting my car fixed from this shop just once. My car has not felt the same ever since I got it fixed from here. Save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere else. If you have a luxury car, like a lexus, stay far far away from this place. Youll end up spending more money fixing the issues this shop caused on your car. If Pepboys would like to take accountability and call me to discuss this, they are more than welcomed to.

I really don't like writing reviews but this place really sucks. The mechanics are a very slow and unexperienced. The short secretary or front desk lady is not helpful at all. I suggest u go to a local mechanics that would treat you as a customer not a inconvenience.

worst shop i’ve ever been to. never take your vehicle here…FOR ANYTHING! they told me my inspection failed, turns out they never actually started the inspection. they assumed it would fail cause they “didn’t have the proper tools.” I wanted to get tires mounted here aswell. Had an appointment for 1:00, they didn’t start my car till about 5:15. I always expect to wait for some time at car shops, as the day doesn’t always go as-planned for the employees. However, the employees were just letting my car sit as they sat in the bay with one car in at a time. When I came back when the tires were completed, the mechanics left wax of some sort all over my rims and tires. (see image below) I would rate this location 0 stars if I could.

Fair treatment and a well informed staff of techs came back with a thorough check of the vehicle safety inspection. Seems that the time slot was overbooked. So scheduling could be more organized.

AVOID STEFKO BLVD BETHLEHEM PA location. The sales people are unscrupulous, though the tech's work was good. I was overcharged for items not needed in the diagnostic. When I later saw the invoice later and asked about the inflated prices, they said I agreed to the price, offering no resolution. PepBoys says they offer a Price Match, but noone will honor it so far. Very disappointed to find a mechanic in my hometown operating like a highway robber in the night, only because I needed help. The work itself was fine and in time, but it's hard to be triple charged for unneeded items. There are plenty of fair honest mechanics on the same street.

Brought my car here for the last 2 years to get the oiled changed , when I went yesterday they told me they couldn’t do my oil change because my car was too low to the ground ( it’s never been changed)
Guessing the young guys in there wanted to go home !

Was told i can bring my car in for an alignment i stated on the phone i have a lowered car with camber and she still told me to bring it that i am able o get an alignment once i get my car there i was denied service because “ they can’t do it” but on the phone was told other wise

I booked an appointment online. I drove the hour to get there from my house and they said the cannot take my car they are closed.
I showed him the confirmed appointment PepBoys confirmed in their system and he said they had a car in the bay and they were not going to hep me come back tomorrow.
When I asked him what was the point in making an appointment, he repeated himself they have someone in the bay. Smdh. Ridiculous

I took my car to have the beerings repaired, it turns out that the same day they delivered the car to me after charging me an excessive bill of 1300 dollars they say that now the axels are bad, why didn't they see it?? Yes, to remove the Berings you must loosen the axels!! On the same day I noticed a lot of grease on the left front tire, they probably broke it so I had to take it again. It is not clear to me that in less than two months something that was good will break and I hardly even use this car, because I take it for inspection and it turns out that normally the inspection costs 71, they charge me in full and they say that next time I should pay an extra for labor and sticker again. I had been very happy with its first repair but I immediately noticed the same day I fixed it that these people did damage on purpose so that I had to take it back, they seem very dishonest to me and such a large company does not warn about faults in the vehicle . I could have had an accident or caused harm to another person, what a lack of professionalism and ethics on the part of these people, I truly do not recommend them and would never recommend them. This happened at pepsboys in Bethlehem PA
/// I report that they were the ones who damaged my Axels by applying heat to remove some berings that were difficult to remove, until one point they told me that none of their tools were able to remove the berings and that they had to apply heat on the The car does not even have 800 miles from the repair to the inspection and now they are bad. The same day they delivered the car to me, the amount of grease was impressive on the wheels and since I am not a mechanic I said well it must be that they applied grease. extra and that's why he throws away the one he doesn't need, the store representative calls me and we start a debate and he tells me that the part was bad. If it had been bad, do you think this company wouldn't have told me that I should repair this part too?!!! More money for pepboys!!! but supposedly it was bad and they didn't say anything, pure lies, I come back and confirm bad work ethics for not tell me about damage to the vehicle that they caused and could have caused me an accident attached photo of the bad Axel and attached photo of previous order where supposedly there is no type of additional damage, do not take your cars there it is a very bad place in the which your life could be at risk due to the poor work ethic of these people.
