Was in Intercourse for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. One of the highlights was Abe's. The gentleman who drove the buggy was outstanding.
A must do and see!

Pleasant ride, but our driver didn’t share much information at all. We had to ply him with questions to learn anything about the Amish. He pointed out the schoolhouse from afar. I had hoped we’d learn a lot. We didn’t.

Very Nice ride with David and Randy the horse. He gave us some local knowledge on our ride. They have some cute small farm animals that love attention 🐐

After reviewing Google reviews of Amish buggy rides, we chose Abe’s. My wife and I enjoyed the ride with our friends’ kids after having lunch at Shady Maple. The five of us had a wonderful ride with our driver, Sadie. She gave the option for one of the kids to sit up front with her, and the 12 yr old seized the opportunity. He had great conversation with her, as she answered all of his questions about the Amish way of life. She was very friendly and personable. We all enjoyed chatting with her. The only negative comment is that no reservations are taken for the rides, it’s in order of arrival. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait, but it was more like an hour. To fill in the time, we all enjoyed feeding and petting the goats and minature horse.

I only use Abe's when I visit the Lancaster area. The drivers have always been very friendly and I learn something about their culture every time! I like the rides are private.

This was a perfect activity for our 2yo. Miss Sadie let her sit up front and even "drive" the buggy. She kept our little one involved and interested by pointing out and asking about all the animals we passed. Miss Sadie was kind enough to answer any and all of the questions about Amish culture I ever wanted to know.

Wow. Hands down our favorite experience on our vacation. This business is Amish-owned and as close as it gets to an authentic experience.
We did the 6.5 mile ride and Sadie was our guide. She was incredibly educational. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience. Look no further- do this tour!!

Very nice ride. We had Sadie. She gave us a brief history of the Amish and was a joy to talk with. She also recommended other Amish places to visit which we did. Again thank you Sadie!

Thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely buggy ride. Our driver was friendly and genuine. "Ricky" was in no great hurry to pull the buggy, which was just fine. Enjoyed the experience of the ride and the stop at the bake shop.
