If you're a knitter you'll absolutely love the gorgeous yarns here. I bought some gorgeous natural alpaca worsted weight, a ply of three different colored alpacas, and I can't wait to knit a sweater from it. The owner is delightful, very nice to talk to. I'm a longtime knitter but newbie spinner and weaver, and she was very forthcoming on tips. It's a really nice place to visit.

This is the second time I have driven over an hour out of my way to come for yarn. Google maps has them opening at 10. Last time I was there at 10:10 so I can give some grave if not open at exactly 10. Today it is about to turn 11 and everything is closed. It has cost me gas money and my time. Very frustrating.

I went to get some roving for a last minute project and was delighted with the options to select from. Donna was so pleasant to talk to, and her shop is warm and inviting. A genuinely nice place to visit and purchase fiber of all kinds.

While vacationing this year, I found this cute yarn/felt store. If you love raw material this is the place as it has plenty to offer. It also has plenty of finished yarn and I love is that most of their fiber are local sheep and alpaca farms near the area. If you love wet felting or needle felting they have a nice selection to purchase. I wish the store was more brighter and updated as I personally felt it was a little antiquated. Most of their yarn are hand dyed by them which the colors are just beautiful. They offer classes which you can call to find out more.

Always friendly and has a great selection for a small shop. It’s nice to come in a shop where the actually craft is being done and you can see how it is done and how to use the fibers they sell. We drove all the way from Southern GA and make this one of our stops. It’s great to see their local support and encouragement of local products. The wool has a story and you know the name of where it came from. Great variety.Anyone complaining about mask policies needs to read the current CDC guidelines and also understand that there are people with different medical needs. Masks have nothing to do with what this story sells or represents. Can’t wait to come back again!!!

If you are looking for a place to purchase Quality wool/roving/yarn this is the place to go. I have been there three times and all three times the owner is always ready to help and is full of great fiber art knowledge. This place is well worth the drive to get what you need. Great friendly warm feeling environment. Best fiber arts/spinning/loom/felting store. any kind of art in which you use fiber you won’t be let down at this location. Thank you Donna for such great supplies and wool.

Beautiful local yarns. The variety is amazing. I really wish business owners and employees would wear masks in this area. Everywhere I've been in Lancaster County for the last couple of days, lame mask enforcement. Business owners and employees need to model the proper behavior as if they care whether or not their customers live or die. Nice yarn though. I suggest ordering on Etsy to stay safe though.
