Stayed here multiple times while driving to NYC from Minnesota. Clean rooms, right off I-80, food and gas close by, state police barracks behind the hotel (very safe lol), and nature preserve walking trails less than a minute up Rt. 115. Had an issue with one staff member when arriving late around 1am. Everything was worked out and no issues again after.Nearby activities: Austin T. Blakeslee Nature Preserve, Jack Frost & Big Boulder Ski Resorts, Split Rock Resort, Kalahari Resort & Indoor Waterpark, Pocono RacewaySafety: Pennsylvania State Police Barracks directly behind hotel. Also patrolled by Pocono Mountain Regional Police. Very safe areaWalkability: Can walk to the gas station and Burger King very easy.Food & drinks: Burger King next door connected to a gas station, Wawa about 2 mins north on rt. 115, pizza and dunkin dounuts next to wawa.

Really nice BW. Radiant floor heating in the pool area. The pool water was actually warm. A rarity. The sauna was nice also. Breakfast was good, standard BW. No real complaints. I would rate it 4.8.....the room we stayed in was slightly dated, but again, no complaints. It was clean and comfortable. 4 stars for the room, but 5 stars in all other areas. The staff was really good. Helpful, friendly, and courteous. Would definitely stay here again.

This place Takes dogs in, that's OK..... We were awaken all night by a rude customer who left dog in room alone and went out...The pillows on a king bed were very small and uncomfortable, carpet in room old and not cleaned in years, for 360.00 dollars a nite there must be better places.....we will not return.........

We stopped at many places on our way to the hotel- there are a ton of things to do including sight seeing- waterfalls, lakes and air tours close by. This hotel is surrounded by eateries, resorts and even has a gas station right across the parking lot that houses a Burger King ( for those not looking for anything fancy) if your worried about safety there’s nothing to fear- there is a police station behind the hotel( huge plus)The service was beyond anything we had expected, our room was very clean, well stocked included a very clean and working fridge and microwave. If you’re into swimming there is a pool as well as a sauna, both very clean! We will definitely be booking here again- there are just too many great things to list in one review! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with plenty to do, book Best Western Blakeslee!

Host. Nancy was so helpful and nice. Others at the desk were great too.Ellen in the breakfast food was so good and helpful and nice.Employees we met cleaning or taking care of rooms were soooo nice.A wonderful place to stay. The pool was a big plus. Warm water and tile around pool was heated. It felt so good in the pool. Had fun with the beach ball they had there.Nearby activities: Went to Boulder field, Jim Thorpe train ride in, Hawk Falls Trail.Safety: Felt safe with someone always at desk and friendly.Food & drinks: Breakfast was fantastic with the pancake machineWonderful bacon and lots of choices with tea, fruit and hot and cold cereal. Muffins and buns. Also vending machines with Haagen- Dazs ice cream and Ben and Jarrys.Restaurant nearby that was great was Murpg’s Hideaway. A lot of choices and was really good.

Needed to get away - even for just one night so fled to the Poconos for a well deserved respite. Sadly the Best Western wasn't the best option. Starting with check in took some time for someone to come to the counter. Barely spoke or acknowledged us as he barked for a credit card and ID. Shoved a paper in front of us to be signed. The price reflecting a different price than we paid on "Hotels.com". We asked for a copy of the check in papers and we're denied stating we would get it at check out. Big surprise come check out time a rather indignant and rude front counter person asked why we needed it. Not that it mattered why but we explained we signed a paper and wanted a copy of what we signed. She held it up and said "this?" To which we replied yes photocopy would be fine. Nope- not an option. She looked it over then stated "oh I see he put the wrong room rate on here" she said "I will print you out one without the signature". Again mumbling and complaining about why we needed one. She handed us the paper and we left. Reviewing the paper not only did it not have the signature as expected is ALSO did NOT have the rate printed out. In addition to the front desk fiasco the room was not worthy of an hour or so stay and play much less an over night respite. We were greeted with the sounds of a good time being had across the hall so loud it seems as though they were frolicking right in the hall itself. The sounds continued the rest of the night. Our complimentary breakfast was as lackluster as expected and the coffee probably the worst I've ever had. All said and done - I'll opt for a red roof inn. Before I'll stay at a best western again and will reconsider a more humble B&B next time we seek solace in the PA mountains.

The cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in awhile. Spent 3 nights here in our family ski trip and everyone on staff was more than accommodating. The entire hotel smelled like cleaning products and was spotless! The breakfast selection was awesome as well as the homemade waffle maker! Thank you to everyone!
