Blakeslee Flea Market is a hit or miss experience with the potential for great finds and treasures. It features both outdoor and indoor vendor spaces, with top notch outdoor produce and bakery vendors offering unique baked items. The market contains lots of shops to browse, though the atmosphere inside can be overlooked. The indoor spaces have been noted for a lack of heat in winter, horrible humidity in summer, and an occasional unpleasant smell needing freshening up. Some sellers have items priced high, making it seem like a cheap way to store personal treasures. Despite these issues, a visit is always fun, especially when discovering an unexpected treasure. Helpful workers can sometimes be found, contributing to a great trip for those willing to hunt for the good stuff.
Got some interesting purchases a couple years ago, but every time I have been back since, it looks like the same stuff, with no one to help you even if you were interested. Has potential, which is currently not used. And it does smell.
