This dojo/school is one of the most effective "self defense" martial arts systems. The sensei/instructor, Dennis, is very knowlegeable, has a very effective teaching style regardless of the student's age or ability, and focused on real-life skills transfer to save your life. The constant hand-to-hand combat scenarios against weapons (guns, knives, chains, etc), chokes, and other simulations (like carjacking) will make you more prepared for self protection and preservation. When you leave his class, you will feel much more empowered to protect yourself and/or others against real-life threats. Constant repetitions allows your body to respond much faster with less thought. If you are studying other forms of martial arts that are focused on the sports aspect or focus a fighting/sparring simulation counting points; you should seriously consider visiting this school where the focus is on perserving your life. I have studied various styles of martial arts for over 45 years and earned black belts in different styles. If I had to choose one style, one school, and one instructor, this school and instructor would be at the top of the list.

Great experience. The instructors were very thorough and patient. They offered real world advice. I was only able to attend 3 classes due to my job and where I live. Glad that I had the experience.

Dennis fritzinger is an excellent instructor in real life situations no Uniforms no unnatural poses no BS just you in your natural state when the danger comes Gun,knife or barehand sitting in your car or walking threw the grocery store whether law in forcement or just a civilian or a black beltFrom another type or style KravMaga from Dennis Fritzinger will open your eyes to what goes down quick
