‘Crook’ isn’t the exact word I’d use, but I can’t say honest, either.I went in just to check it out- got the usual salesman pitch and flyer. Returned with some 1850s coins, a WWII family heirloom and a 1/10 oz of gold (uncirculated and in plastic thing it came in from NGC). The gold coin was absolutely legit but the guy “didn’t like the color” and said he didn’t know anything about the bayonet (bought it from me anyway) though WWII/war relicts was listed on the flyer and the guy said he’s been doing this 52 years and hasn’t yet lost a deal- if you’ve been doing this THAT long, you should be a subject matter expert and if something is of what’s specifically listed on ‘what we’re looking for’, surely you must know SOMETHING about it. 4 coins, certified gold, and WWII relic- I got $75. I was absolutely, 100% taken advantage of. Was I an easy target? Sure, but just like taking your car into a garage for an unknown issue, we trust in the honesty and integrity of those subject matter experts- especially if we’re not 100% what the issue is or what we have (as it relates to getting things appraised).Did I have to sell my stuff and take less than $100? Also no, but when I initially went in he said, “when can you bring something in for me”..? I picked a day I knew I wasn’t working that I could maybe swing back in- before I got there the guy calls my cell phone <COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and uncouth> and asks if I’m coming, when I’m coming and what I’m bringing him. I felt obligated and uncomfortable but I’d also said I would be in and always keep my word. I guess I (we) am (are) just at the mercy of those who DON’T keep theirs or regard honesty as less important than everyone else does (or should). I am certainly never going there again

Super friendly folks. Steve was great! He was knowledgeable and personable, and his staff member was too. There's something for everyone here. If you don't see what you're looking for, definitely ask Steve if he has it. There's so much more available than is displayed. From coins to Barbies, automotive collectibles, and brand new mattresses, too. We didn't make a purchase today, but we'll be back.

Do not waste your time or money at this store. The owner, Steve, is dishonest and untrustworthy. My husband paid $350 for 8 vintage Matchbox cars. It turns out that only 3 are actually vintage - the other 5 were made in China in 1991. When we went back to the store, Steve continually attempted to deflect the conversation to offer to buy my husband's gold chain (which we had no interest in selling).

My husband and I went to Arcus Brothers to browse for antiques. The store does have some antiques, but mostly junk. My husband purchased 8 Matchbox cars (he was shown 3 that were collectible) and the other 5 cars were believed to be collectible. When we took our purchases back to the hotel, my husband had an opportunity to examine the cars. We were bamboozled. We went back to the store to express our displeasure. As we mentioned to Steve that we were displeased with the sale, he continually changed the subject and attempted to change the subject. He then had the audacity to propose to sell us more Matchbox cars. I don't understand how someone who is obviously a crook has managed to stay in business for 50+ years.

Dishonest. Manipulating. Values profit over morality. a good talker. That’s about it. I bought a mattress from here, told him I want a good mattress and will pay decent. Bought a mattress for 800. He said he’s had many buy it and everyone loves it. It was a very comfortable mattress. But after one single week it Began to sag and lose its support. Cheap garbage he probably paid 200-300$ a piece for and bought in large quantities. I won’t be back. Ever. Do not reply to my review Steve. I have no interest in responding to your generic response to try and make yourself look good.

Do NOT trust these guys. They will do everything possible to rip you off. There is zero integrity or ethics here. My warning to everyone is buyer beware. Do not do business here.

Scammers.Bought wireless headphones from him maybe 9 years ago. Wasn't smart enough to review them here at the time, but this experience always stuck with me.They needed batteries but the panel to open to put the batteries in didn't open. I tried even using a screwdriver and nothing.Took it back to him and his response was to make me wait while he spent about 20 minutes with a hammer a screwdriver bashing the panel open and handing them back saying they were fine and to get out.I eventually got batteries in them and they never worked to begin with. But if he spent almost half an hour with hand tools making a ridiculous show of himself to keep from refunding busted headphones, I knew I'd be sitting there even longer as he spent forever swapping batteries saying each one put in was dead.Just avoid them.

The owner is very rude to customers and his worker. He should be very ashamed of how he treated me and his worker.

Ehh. The owner is openly money hungry and asks very personal questions. Some things are extremely over priced

This guy sells stuff that does not work.He appears to be dishonest and a bit creepy.I made the mistake of buying a tuner there, got it home and it did not work.I exchanged it for another tuner and after turning it on 4 times the tuner knob fell off. It apparently was glued in to make it work for just a little while. Then the guy says he can't be held responsible for things not working forever. Are you kidding me? Why is this guy even allowed to be in business? He ripped me off and he'll do the same to anyone. I suggest you all go elsewhere to do business. The guy is not on the up and up.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, except some of the vinyl is overpriced. Person there (I think Steve) heckled me the whole time about buying an NES for $100 (which isn't that good of a price). The things that really got me were him saying "if you see any games that are priced, I'm still going to look them up." Seriously? You're gonna change the price on the spot? He also had a reproduction memory card for the PS2 that he wanted $20 for. I can get it DIRECT from the manufacturer for $15; they sell them wholesale for $10. He wouldn't let me see certain items without buying the aforementioned NES, and complained that I was asking for prices on things that had no price tag on them whatsoever.Terrible experience and I'm never going back.

Got kicked out for no reason, owner Steve accused me of being up to no good. Highly insulting, especially coming from this place.
