“First time visiting today. I was highly impressed with the selection and the genuine, kind owners. There is something for everyone. Vintage items, everyday homewares, children's toys and costumes, appliances, furniture, beautiful lamps, the list goes on. I looked up the going price for vintage items The Bargain Barn was selling. They were being sold for prices that were exorbitantly more than what The Bargain Bin was charging. I was unable to purchase as much as I wanted due to using public transportation and having my hands full with my toddler. However, I will be visiting and buying from The Bargain Barn very often. I was truly impressed with the selection, proprietors, and overall good vibe of the store. I'm looking forward to going back during the week.

Addendum: I saw some negative reviews about The Bargain Barn pertaining to lack of organization and cleanliness. Everything was sectioned off and very easy to shop when I visited. There was a toy room upstairs, a large Christmas decoration area, an electronics section, a vintage lamp section, the more current and vintage breakables had their own designated areas, the fishing rods had a separate area, Halloween decorations, collectible toy cars, etc. The look of the store; interior and exterior, added to its charm.”

“Great prices! Everything clean and well cared for. Would be a great place to stop in and grab a gift for someone if you’re on a budget! Candles for $1?! They even have gift bags and cards. A little of everything! Books and children’s items in a back room. Nice place.”

“Nice. Cute little shop I went looking for some pants for work. There is some cure clothing. I'll be back. Didn't get anything this time simply because I didn't find anything in my size that was good for work but they do have a variety. The people are also super friendly”

“I love coming to this store, and do so regularly. I have just one thing that upsets me. When buying accessories such as socks, which I bought three pairs the other day, they are charged as housewares instead of clothing. This means they are taxed. Pennsylvania does NOT place sales tax on clothing, but since it is entered into the register as a houseware, this means it will be taxed. I don't think this is the right way to do business”

“As always another couple of total steals at the 2nd hand store! My favorites:) Calvin Klein backpack n tshirt, maybe pants n express jeans. Can't go wrong w all that for $18! Highly recommend!”
