This bank discriminated against my brother because he is a young black man and is making more money than them. My brother went back in to ask to close the account because he didn’t feel comfortable anymore, and the manager and the bank teller which was an Indian lady that was short and skinny with black hair and glasses my brother and mother heard her say “what if the check is fake” not knowing my brother works for the union! Be careful not only customers but managers because discrimination is against the LAW! And you can be sued over it… #Ridiculous

First time at Blue Bell location. It is exactly what I want from my bank. The workers Rae, Barti, and John specifically were amazing. They were friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left and took care of all my needs. Just a great experience. Would recommend this location to univest customers.

Customer service is usually friendly, and most locations in Bucks County, Pa. are convenient. I think $8 a month for a "free" checking account is a bit much but not excessive for a smaller bank. Their fees for cashiers checks seem to vary by location, which I find quite odd. Better than the mega banks, Univest is a decent option for those looking for a community bank. That said, I was a customer of this bank for years in the late 1990s before coming back to them again around 2012 or so. I liked the bank better in the 90s. Service was more person. It felt like a true "neighborhood" bank. I guess having acquired a few other small banks over the years that culture was bound to change.

Can I give zero stars.. I want to let the community know exactly how Univest treats their customers... Years ago I ended taking advantage of Univest's services for a mortgage. Or.... at least I thought I was..... There were a few other rates that were comparable from other's, and some were even better. I did my due diligence on the banks and what sold me on Univest was that, "they stated", how much they support the community, the way they treat their customers and are an extremely family oriented organization. Fast forward to the pandemic in 2020. I asked if I can possibly defer payments, like many of friends and family are doing with their suppliers. Univest.... They won't even consider it. This bank will give you the option of making a lump some payments throughout this crisis within a 3 month window or even getting an additional loan to pay back in the very near future Thanks, but no thanks. Needless to say, when I'm employed again, I'll be refinancing through another organization!

A rude rep that works here. I wanted to give them a heads up that I was coming in today because of the amount of money I will be wiring. I got attitude and she was not listening. Hung up on me 2 times. Never gave me a chance to say Hello. Wiring $161K is nothing to them I guess.

To make a long story short - I inadvertently accumulated $935 in fees within a few weeks on my Univest checking account. It was an oversight on my part that I addressed the issue as soon as I was aware of what was going on. I went to the branch manager, Deb, to take responsibility for my mistake and take preventative action so it wouldn't happen again. I requested for her to waive the fees which she was unwilling to do. To me, and pretty much anyone else on this planet, $935 in fees is downright outrageous, especially when my account has been in good standing for years. Instead of working with me, she takes the spiteful "high school principal" route. I felt as if I was being punished and reprimanded for my oversight. I've dealt with many companies/banks and my experience with Univest was downright embarrassing. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I ended up being a quick buck for them. It took going to the VP of the bank to make any headway and still, they were stubborn as they come. A very disappointing and discouraging experience overall. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I would highly advise to everyone to do the same.
