“Dr. Murarka has a heart full of compassion! He saved my most precious and beloved boy cat from dying. He made a house call, came all the way from Blue Bell to Philly, checked him out and told me to meet him back at the office because his situation was dire. My boy was perfect the next day! And years later when I took in a pregnant stray, she was in distress and lethargic during her labor. I called ahead and he took her right in, saving her life after performing surgery on her to remove the 2 kittens that had died before they could be delivered. She was being poisoned by the deceased fetuses. Dr. Murarka exhibited loving care and urgency yo save the life of a stray cat, and though it has been years since these two events, they are indelibly etched in my memory with deep gratitude.”
“We needed to get our kitty, Pip Squeak, dental work due to tartar on his molars. We called for an appointment at Creature Comforts, but couldn't catch him for 2 appts. We felt badly to ask for a 3rd. Appt., but Creature Comforts was willing for another try. We caught Pip Squeak and he had his preliminary checkup, blood work, etc. and we have a Dental Cleaning appt. all set for October!
Dr. Wolbramsky and her staff were welcoming and very professional in checking over Pip and the blood draw, which was done quickly and with skill. We really appreciated their understanding for our lack of skill in catching Pip Squeak and their suggestions.”

“Been going to LVC for several years for both of my dogs. Everyone is always so kind, attentive, and personable. I rarely have to sit in the waiting area, which is really nice for my dog's comfort, especially my reactive/nervous dog. Getting an appt within a couple of days-a week is rarely an issue. Dr. Perone and Dr. Patten are both great; both provide excellent care and answer questions thoughtfully. I feel very reassured that my dogs are in good hands for any surgeries performed by Dr. Patten. All of the techs/assistants are wonderful as well!”

“Dr Tamas is the best hidden gem I’ve ever encountered. I’ve trusted 7 or 8 pets in her care, and that’s not easy to do. My pets are my family and I’m incredibly particular about the care they receive. I’m also incredible particular about vet care costs. I know how much things are upcharged at a lot of vets, but you’ll never see that here. Her staff is also incredible and efficient. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing great techs through Dr Tamas.
Dr Tamas is the epitome of what a proper veterinarian should be and we love her to the ends of the earth.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Rau Animal Hospital. I bring both my cat and my dog here, and every experience we’ve had has been wonderful. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the entire staff has always been kind and helpful. But what really stands out to me is the level of care we’ve received from Dr. Kwong.
My dog, Tess, has several serious and terminal health issues, and Dr. Kwong has been an absolute angel throughout all of it. She keeps me updated when new information comes in, gets back to me quickly when I have questions, and always takes the time to discuss our options with compassion and without making me feel rushed. It’s very clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and the people who love them, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything she has done for us.
The vet techs have also been amazing. We come in regularly for allergy shots and nail trims, which Tess absolutely hates, and every tech we’ve worked with has consistently prioritized her comfort rather than just trying to get the appointment done quickly. We came from a vet where speed seemed to take priority, so having a team that genuinely pays attention to how Tess is handling everything means the world to me.
When you have a pet with complicated health issues, having a veterinary team you trust makes such a huge difference. I feel genuinely cared for at Rau, and more importantly, I know my pets are cared for. I’m incredibly grateful we found this practice and would highly recommend Rau Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about their patients.”
“Cats only was consistently the best veterinarian experience I have ever had. My cat has since passed so I haven’t been there in awhile. Everyone was always so kind and really listened to our concerns. They even sent me a very sweet card signed by the staff and offered to refund his unused medicated food. I had noticed in my previous review I only left 5 stars but my experience with cats only deserves more than that. It’s not the cheapest option, but it was well worth the money.”

Mary Kate who initially answered my call (she was amazing at listening to my issues) helped set an appointment for me with Dr. Tara. My cat is anxious and it’s been tough finding her proper care.
FOUND IT!
Dr. Tara and tech, Xylia were absolutely incredible with her (my cat). I’ve never seen her so relaxed before and allow an examination to be done. They were like cat whisperers! They both truly listened to our distress over my cats illness and behaviors and formulated a plan. Ultrasound first.
Jen, the Manager was instrumental in helping me drop my cat off early for her ultrasound appointment (and it was supposed to snow and Jen kept in contact with me until the day before just in case the weather changed..who does that?! Jen..that’s who). Simply outstanding service.
The ultrasound went well, and that’s when I met Ash and Tara (at the front desk). They too were extremely friendly and helpful and proficient!
Afterwards, I received a call from Tina about meds and she was also fantastic and made sure I understood what to do with them.
I’ve had such an incredible experience here that we have decided to take our 3 other cats here as well. I’ve never felt so heard and seen and respected by all staff members of a vets office. I know my cats are in excellent hands now.

“Talk about willing to help and kindness . I was put in a last-minute situation and needed to be seen right away. My dog is a little tricky. She’s not very friendly,She has an attitude problem and the doctor was beyond patient kind and willing to help us. She saw us right away. She took time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with my pets treatment plan- part of which includes manually expressing my rabbits bladder, she demonstrated the proper technique and then let me try to make sure I was confident before I went home. I literally came 10 minutes before close and never felt rushed or insignificant to her. She’s the best exotic vet I’ve had!”

“We had our first visit with Dr Tori today. We went to her father for over 30 years. We were really excited to meet her. By the time we got there our dog was in distress. This was a new and sudden development. His heart rate was too high and he was having trouble breathing. Dr Tori and her staff acted quickly getting a chest xray ASAP. Enlarged heart. Our dog is a 12 1/2 year old Newf. We appreciated her recommended to take him home on some cardiac meds instead of going to an ER..
They were compassionate and patient. Hank is home now with new medication and we are hopeful.
