It's a nice change of pace with a smaller footprint than Seven Springs or Hidden Valley.

Not many trails but very convenient and well kept. Very helpful staff.

This is a small local resort. After Vail Resorts purchased it they started to put more effort and money into the resort. It's still got the home town feeling but has better resources. It's a great place to go to get away from the big destination resorts in the area. It's has less overall runs but the runs are longer and the lines are shorter.

This is one of the most convenient skiing experiences you'll ever have. We had no crowds on a Saturday. Parking is very close to the lodge, no lines for tickets, rental, or food. Lodge and bar is very clean, cozy, and staff are friendly. Prices are fair for tickets. Skiing is limited however. Unfortunately they really only have 3 runs (a green, a blue, and a black/double black) under snowmaking. So, if there is no natural snow, you only have 3 runs. There is no terrain park, so this is for slope skiers only (glades if natural snow). Laurel Mountain also has the prettiest sunset you've ever seen. Overall, I think this is a great place for families that don't want to pay an arm and a leg to ski with children, anyone who hates crowded resorts, and anyone who just is dying to ski the steepest slope in PA. Just don't come here expecting variety.

The resort is super small compared to other resorts. Unfortunately when I visited they only had a blue and a black trail open, and I had a complete beginner with me, and having only the blue as an option wasn't ideal. There weren't a ton of people though, and the resort was clean and had good food options. However, the people who worked here were super nice and arranged a refund of the ski lift ticket for the next day since we booked two days. We ended up being told Hidden Valley would be better for a beginner, so we spend the second day there.

Skiing here is very limited. New management, Vail Resorts, is undercutting the potential of this historic area. Only three runs with snowmaking. Closed Monday opens at noon Tuesday through Thursday. Noon? Lower Wildcat, the best , steepest run in Pennsylvania took over a month to open, accessed for 2 days, then closed again. Insbrook beginner run saw no snow making till January 31. Disappointment is ongoing.

Super disappointing. We have skied here for years when it was owned by seven springs and was great smaller resort. Today they have one slope open on a weekend. We used one of our ski passes that cost roughly 80.00 to ski down one hill over and over. For what people pay to ski here they should be blowing snow like they do at seven springs. Super disappointed!!!!!

The best ski resort in the area and a hidden gem. Though not as many trails as Hidden Valley or Seven Springs they all are longer and have gorgeous views. Also there's none of the crowds or other issues. My new favorite place to ski in the area.

Great place to ski for the day. Not much was open due to weather challenges this season, but it was still super enjoyable. This is definitely a hidden gem in the Laurel Highlands.

What an incredible experience we had yesterday. I can’t say enough about how polite and friendly the staff was. Skiing was a bit tricky with the snow guns blowing full force, but we understood that’s what happens when you need snow. We will definitely be back to ski again. Also, the food was great the the lodge was amazing. What a hidden gem. Must see for yourself.

Great for locals and people that just want to ski and board without huge crowds. The lodge is super nice. There’s a decent selection of food and beverages in the restaurant downstairs. Bathrooms and all facilities are clean and spacious. Parking is excellent, right next to drop off. This is not a big park, but is enough for a day trip and some good runs.

All green lanes closed without notice. Not friendly for beginners.

Quaint. But therein lies the appeal. Go when the whole mountain (including the blues off to the left side) is open. Otherwise there's basically two runs plus a steep black. Still worth the visit. Great bar.

A small resort but fun to ski at. We visited Laurel during February and scenery driving up the mountain is breathtaking. The staffs are friendly and lift lines are short. great east coast ski experience.
