Hours: Beacon Building Products is noted for having a location that is very hard to get to, with tiny streets requiring really wide turns. Specific directions from multiple routes are provided, noting construction and that the delivery entrance is on Corey Avenue near the intersection with 4th Street. The entrance only fits one truck and is at the back of the building parallel to the railroad tracks. There is room for two to three trucks to stay overnight. They open after 6am, and it is better to arrive after 9pm to avoid car traffic on the narrow streets. The staff are consistently described as friendly and very helpful, both with making lists of materials and in providing all needed items in a timely way. Unloading is very fast. They have also made exceptions to go out of their way to assist with deliveries after hours, which customers are grateful for.
