“I needed to send flowers to my sister and gave Jim's a try. I worked with a very nice lady named Debbie. My only direction was to put together an informal arrangement with the freshest flowers they had on hand, but not to include lilies. They put together a really beautiful bouquet that surpassed my expectations it was probably close to 20 stems of lots of pretty, complementary flowers. And it was less than 2 hours from the time I called until it was delivered to my sister, also in Clairton. There is really something to say about old-fashioned, locally owned small businesses and I'm so glad I found this florist. I will definitely use them again.”

We asked for colorful and wildflower inspired and they blew away our expectations! Sue sent me options for the vases and she worked with us continuously through a couple of changes, even an entire date change. I 100% recommend them for all your flower and florist needs.”

“I loved working with Alex for my wedding florals! He came highly recommended by my matron of honor, who has worked with him before, and he did not disappoint. I provided Alex a Pinterest board as well as some more general inspiration — like what the groom’s tie looked like, my matron of honor’s dress, etc. — and he executed the vision perfectly! My and my MOH’s bouquets looked related by not identical, which I love, and his centerpieces really brought our reception space to life. (He also did the centerpieces for my bridal shower, and they were just as beautiful.)
In addition to his floral expertise, Alex was kind and attentive through the process, and worked with both my mother and my MOH when I was too overwhelmed with other aspects of planning. He also arranged to drop my and my MOH’s bouquets off separately from the day-of delivery to the venue so I was able to have photos taken when I was getting ready. I also deeply appreciated his honesty — I was thinking of getting baby’s breath for our ceremony space and he said he could do it but that for the price versus the time spent in the space, he wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, even though that meant less $$ for him. All in all, highly recommend Alex and his services for wedding flowers and beyond!”

“I started getting flowers from Gidas when I was an undergrad at Pitt nearly 20 years ago. I've tried other florists in Pittsburgh and none have ever been as high quality or affordably priced. And I just was able to use Gidas for the flowers at my wedding. Everything was done beautifully and at a reasonable cost.
Also, as a dude, I have frequently gone in there with a set price and just let them create a bouquet. They have always been stunning.”
