Dirty rooms, do not place patients appropriately (keep the rehab units for private pay patients and place rehab patients on the skilled unit), the Administrator is unprofessional, lies, and even goes as far as rationing soap for the patients and the staff uses their own money to buy soap for the patients, The staff ratio on the skilled unit is 2 NA to 56 patients. Just unbelievable! Do NOT send anyone that you care about to this poor excuse for Nursing Care!

This place is awful. Do NOT put your loved one here unless you want them to be poorly cared for. I'm sitting here listening to the workers scream at and argue with patients. The alarm bells ring and no one comes. My mother in law was given the wrong medicine. She's not getting the care she needs and NO ONE will communicate with us. We've been waiting for calls for DAYS

My dad was there recently after recovering from breaking his femur. After 1.5 days he ended up in ICU. We found out by accident that during PT he blacked out, after checking his blood pressure they called a crash cart without contacting the family. His blood pressure was 73/33 & didn’t seem to think this was an emergency enough to call 911. I was speaking to my dad while they were taking his pressure & couldn’t believe the number. I got on the phone & told her to call 911 she saidI have to call dr & wait for him to call back and just monitor him. I couldn’t believe it! We insisted & called 911 myself. After being informed from my sister they finally called. He ended up in ICU w bleeding internally! Then was transferred to another hospital because of the severity. He had multiple blood transfusions & another surgery to stop the bleeding. All of this after 1.5 days @ Bridgeville facility. No urgency at all to help my dad at all! It’s absolutely horrible the lack of care or concern for people’s lives. We did not take him back there. He also hardly got water & took forever to change him after going to bathroom since he couldn’t walk & we witnessed it first hand. Do not send your loved ones to this place!

As soon as I walked in I liked the cleanliness & no offending odors. Staff was friendly from the front desk to the nurses on my mom's unit.

My wife arrived on the evening of 2-2-23 from St Clair hospital. Within minutes she was met by a nursing assistant who made her feel welcomed. Her vitals were taken and she was promptly placed on iv and had her feeding tube hooked up. Her iliostomy was taken care of and she was ask what else was needed. In recent months I had experienced 2 other skilled nursing facilities and waited over 2 hours after admission before anyone even came into her room. Call buttons were never answered. I believe we made a good choice this time and eventually with PT and OT I will get my wife back home!??

Especially the staff from the 3 to 11 shift who are working with the fewest number of people really kept their heads up, smiles on their faces as they took care of their residents and their families delivering excellent care to all. This is a credit to not only the individual but also the nurses, supervisor who was on a med cart that day, laundry ladies and a solo fantastic housekeeper. This shift seems to meld and work like a team, no a family. Keep it up all.

I work here and have a relative who is getting care here. I can say the midnight nurses are amazing so are the 3 to 11. I don’t work days so I can’t speak for those. The new administrator is definitely dedicated to both the residence and the employees

I am very happy with the care that my mother is receiving at Bridgeville Rehab and Care Center. The staff is consistent and they know my mother well. I feel so comfortable knowing that she is well taken care of. The nurses and aids know just how to handle her when she gets anxious. I am happy with the activities department also. They have many activities and keep the residents busy. It is so important because it helps people get through long days by keeping their minds and hands active. Thank you Bridgeville Rehab for continuing to keep my mom safe and happy.Shelley Bosanac
