Todd and his guys? Absolute legends. The kind of folks who pop the hood and instantly know what’s wrong like some kind of automotive whisperers. They could probably fix your car with one hand, blindfolded, while holding a coffee in the other. And they’d still offer you a ride home.
I’ve had issues I didn’t even know existed. I walk in saying, “Hey, my car’s making this weird clunk-clunk noise,” and they’re like, “Say no more.” Next thing you know, it's running smoother than a jazz sax solo.
And the honesty? Unreal. I once tried to get them to replace something I thought was broken, and they actually said, “Nah, that part’s solid. You’re good.” Who does that? Every other place treats you like a walking ATM.
Anyway, if you’re not going to McDonough’s, you’re basically just donating money to people who call your engine a “carburetor” while secretly Googling it. Go see the pros. Your car will thank you. Your wallet will thank you. Heck, even your stress levels will send you a fruit basket.”

“In late June, my car started acting funny and eventually wouldn't go into gear. No warning light came on until the evening it just wouldn't go into gear. I had already scheduled an appointment elsewhere and called my auto insurance provider to have the vehicle towed to that shop. Mark, the owner of Challenger Towing arrived and saw the car wouldn't go into gear. He was fine towing it to the other shop, but said it as most likely the transmission. He mentioned that many newer cars have CVT transmissions and they don't provide as much warning compared to older cars. He took the car to his shop and verified it was the transmission. I'd once said that I'd never pay for a new transmission, but we had just paid the car off two months prior. I had no desire to take on another car payment so quickly. I got the extended warranty on the transmission. I know also know about CVT transmissions and didn't before. When it's time for a new car, I plan to ask if it has a CVT transmission because they tend to only last for 100,000 miles according to my online research. Our Rogue was just under 89,000 miles when the transmission went out. You can trust Challenger Towing - good people, great service.”
