“At 6:25pm on Saturday July 5th, on our way from Pennsylvania to Maryland, my wife and I learned that our 2022 $70,000.00 luxury car, did not have a spare tire which we could use to replace the front tire that had a hole in the sidewall of the right front tire, after we hit a deep pot hole on I 95 South.
Auto dealerships were closed until Monday. However, our call to PEP BOYS was warmly received by a nice lady who expressed regret for our problem.
She advised us to “have the car towed to her shop, and they would “ keep the door open until we arrived!”
The PEP BOYS manager Andrew, met us and placed the car in one of the PEP BOYS service bays, which I really appreciated!
The FIRST THING SUNDAY MORNING July 6th, the nice lady phoned me at our hotel to tell us that” she knew we were stranded, so they placed our car first in line, so we could be on our way!”

I took my BMW x3 in for an inspection and oil change. Kevin was very genuine and knowledgeable. Didn’t rush my questions and made sure I understood everything. He texted me a link to download my complete detailed bill BEFORE any work was completed. He was transparent about what was required to pass inspection vs recommended. There was only ONE service recommended. Attention to details is important to me. My car was returned with all notifications cleared and my lights back on auto. Everyone forgets that.”
