I normally go to Aston, even though I live in Brookhaven. Today I was reminded why. Aston was out of stamps, and sent me to Brookhaven. When I got there, there were 7 people in front of me. The lady being helped was there 10+ minutes with whatever it was. A person in front of me turned around and left. If the price of stamps wasn't going up tomorrow, I would have left too. My daughter was with me and having a fit because she was hungry. The lady behind the counter was thanking everyone for their patience. When it was my turn, she hardly said 2 words to me. I think I was quite patient, and had to deal with my daughter. Never again. I was there over a half hour. The post office closes at 12 on Saturdays. Doubt the lady gets out before 1. She did mention to someone it's always just her and to fill out a survey for more help. Show me the survey please.

On Saturday March 30th I arrived at the post office at 1:12 p.m. Upon arrival I was told by the agent that she was closed for the day. I was completely outraged!!! The hours of operation are posted it on the door and on the website until 2:00 p.m. Because of this fact, a very important document that I needed to go out will now be postmarked late!! The postmaster will be informed

On a Wednesday I paid $10 2-day delivery to mail deposit check to NY for my daughter’s wedding. It sat in this post office until the following Tuesday morning when it went to Philadelphia. It will never even get there in a week!

This post office seems to always be busy. It is efficiently run and kept clean, although the very nice lady behind the counter is rather slow and methodical. Allow at least 20 minutes to transact business at the counter.
