Friendly staff, great fresh brewed coffee in a pot, decent fuel prices. Like that they make pizza burgers like we use to get in school.

I have been purchasing gas here for the past 14 years. After my recent experience with the Clayton Police Department working with the store clerk however, I will avoid doing business with them in the future. My wife sent me inside after gassing up around 2am to get a "Naked" fruit drink. I looked over the whole store unable to find it when a police officer, who had been standing at the front of the store with his arms crossed staring at me rudely barked, "I have to ask, are you casing the place?" It was obvious what had happened...the store clerk ran to the back room probably looking over the video surveillance to see if I put anything in my pockets while the officer tried to engage in conversation with me to stall. I was speechless, not really knowing what to say. I had to remind myself, what does "casing" even mean again? I answered "no" and tried to continue to shop with him arms crossed looking over my shoulder. When finished, I kindly said to the officer, have a good night sir. He just scoffed and stared at me. Now, I am empathetic to stores experiencing shop-lifters. However, I was TRYING to purchase an (overpriced) fruit drink and the officer was just plain rude. If Sunoco wishes to have an officer on-site... A) Try to be more tactful. Your opening line, "are you casing the place" leads me to believe you are trying to establish a pre-crime. That's not very easy to prosecute in the court of law, nor does not foster a working relationship with everyday law abiding citizens, and certainly does not encourage me to come back to your gas station. B) Now, I try to assume the best. Maybe it just wasn't a very bright cop....and that's why his opening was less than tasteful. But the scoffing when I said goodnight. Yeah, case closed, he was just a dirt bag power hungry cop. That's exactly who you want representing you Clayton; Way-to-go on building a working relationship with the community. C) You might want to park the cruiser out back and hide the cop...that's how to catch a thief 101. After being treated in this manner, they should expect never to receive a cent from me again, and I will continue to encourage others to pass this place up based on their working relationship with the Clayton PD. I was a customer trying to give you business and would have been more than happy to engage in pleasant conversation if you needed to stall while checking your cameras. Simply asking "how are you doing tonight?" with a respectful attitude would have been...refreshing.

I have to question the quality of their gas. It may have to do with the ethanol content, but my 2 cycle engines don't like it. Everything in the store is over priced so prepare to pay for the convenience. The employees are always friendly though.

While I have never bought gas here, I want to talk about my experience here. I stopped here a few weeks ago because I became "lost" on my way to Brookville. I realize now that I got off of I-75 too soon. However.... When I realized then that I was headed in the wrong direction (I wanted to get to Golden Gate Park). I stopped at this station and asked for directions. The lady there was very nice and wrote down the directions for me. I got where I needed to be without a problem. I should have asked for her name so I could tell the company what a great employee they have. I recommend this business!
