Absolutely LOVE this location. My wife and I visit every couple of weeks. The employees are always very helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is very impressive, especially their manga/graphic novel section. They also have a decent size board game section. With the ever-dwindling selection of independent book stores, Barnes and Noble does its best to fill the gap and provide a clean, quiet book store.

One of many books stores around. They have very thing you need. They even have discounted books. They were very little seating. Not like back in the day, where you can sit and read for hours in a book store.

Haven't been in-person book shopping in ages, as I work in a library. Since it's holiday gift-giving time, I stopped by my local B&N, and wasn't disappointed. Lots of great titles to choose from, well curated displays, helpful and pleasant customer service. It was busy, but the lines moved nicely.

I barely go into this store, but when I do it’s always a nice experience. Friendly helpful staff and clean!

Great Book selection. Promotes Leftist ideology hiding Conservative, need to go looking. Religious section was small & unkempt but at least existed. Many Staff wear masks and the effeminate men paint their finger nails.

Barnes and Noble on Chestnut Street is the “modern take” on the bookstore. The original Center City B and N was in Rittenhouse Square, it was charming, welcoming, nostalgic and had a huge selection of books, magazines and accessories with a Starbucks. B and N on Chestnut Street is more slick and modern with a good selection, don’t expect a Starbucks.. and seating is very limited. One bonus is the signings and lectures with Authors. I recommend going if you love books.

This B&N os absolutely amazing!! Gina and Jess were an immense help! They both took time to help me in finding my book and even grabbed it from the back! I don’t live in the area, but will for sure come back just because of how great the customer care was!!
