Nate in the paint section was so helpful! I never had service like that at any hardware store. He has exceptional customer service skills. Was very knowledgeable about all of the products available in the store and helped us choose the right product for us. Nate is the perfect Home Depot brand representative

As I was checking out at self check the other day. An older lady sat there and watched everything I did. After paying for my stuff she ran over to me and said let me see your receipt. She said you only have 12 pieces of wood rang up when it should be 14. I proceeded to count the 12 pieces of wood I had. With no apology for her causing me of stealing f I felt very disrespected. I spend over 50,000 a year at Home Depot alone as a contractor. I don’t need to steal 2 pieces of wood worth 3$. Won’t be ever going here again. Lowes is around the corner.

I can prove without a shadow of doubt that I was terminated from Home Depot Broomall, PA / Store 4181 due to employees feeling uncomfortable about my gender / sexual identity and due to me refusing to assimilate to a pattern of unethical practices just to make more money. Prepare for an EEOC COMPLAINT and a wrongful termination lawsuit. In addition my workplace became a hostile place to work when I stood my ground and refused to push damage protection with each tool rental contract but instead simply asked each rental customer whether or not they wanted damage protection and let the customer decide. Damage protection not equal to auto, homeowners, medical, umbrella, or commercial insurance. It is a sales tactic, a huge money maker for home depot, same as extended warranties, and credit card sales. Gigantic kickbacks and commissions. Mathematically, statistically, and financially speaking with few exceptions, its gimmick insurance. People I urge you... Check your receipts when you rent tools, especially from store 4181. Dispute paying for damage protection you didn't ask for till it is refunded. Keep in mind damage protection is required on large pieces of towable equipment unless you can produce 300k or higher liability limits. Workplace also became hostile when I gave justified markdowns and discounts that made sense in various instances. Business is not just about profit. Yes, profit is important, without it there is no business, but... It's about both profit and loss. Occasionally it is right to take a loss and do right by the customer. Occasionally the store is at fault. Occasionally you suck it up and markdown when customer complains at check in because you were so busy you didn't take the time to do every single check out procedure properly and therefore cannot prove it was working when it left Then again no one person should ever have to work in a department alone. I guess the company didn't mean it when they preached doing right by the customer It's preached in training videos But I guess there is a difference between looking good from a public relations standpoint and putting it into practice everyday. I bought a garage door and had their installer install it.The door is grinding And falling off trackwhen it comes down.I emailed them 11 times, they never got back to me. I spoke tosomeone in customer service once.Then I had to go to the store.They refused to help.They suggested I go to the door manufacturer when really it Was a bad installation job. I spent $3,500 and I'm getting no help at all. iI will never go to them again

Horrible customer serviceRude front end associate!I walked around the store twice, asked 3 different employees where the item I was looking for was located, received 3 different isle locations...not one was correct .Desperate need for customer service training.Went to Lowes and was in and out in less then 5 minutes.

I went in for nuts and bolts. Not many of the Home Depot workers wanted to help anybody they want to stand around and talk. I went twice today as the guy for help and then he started giving me a hard time and it was something I’m just not used to buying and I’ll tell you what I want right on Amazon that they had 1,000,000 V and everything you could possibly need. I don’t know why I forgot about Amazon but I have to deal with the post Customer Service I’m always open Amazon first.
