Do not fall victimized by signing up with their training, first of all they will lie and tell you that you can’t cancel when you can, the trainer only trains you for 20minutes and rushes for it to be over please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Management at this location is a liar! I’m sure he will come under my post and lie some more, just watch out!

This is supposed to be a signature club. False advertisement! Promised classes are never open, kids club closed , and machines are broken for months. Not to mention that the AC unit hasnt been working properly for months and I find it incredibly hard to breathe during workouts . I was also told that the PROMISED sauna was shutdown to cut operating cost !!! This brand is going down hill . I will definitely be taking my and clients business elsewhere.

I’ve been a member of this location for a few years and unfortunately this last year the quality of both service and overall experience has declined drastically. The gym is frequently dirty and far below standards, the equipment is regularly broken, and now the sauna is closed (according to staff, it’s a cost cutting measure to save on the electric bill). Additionally, I’m charged extra monthly for towel service, but the gym is always out of towels and when in stock, they are dingy and in poor condition. This location went from top tier to bottom of the barrel. I urge corporate and management to revisit making the customer experience their foremost priority.

My favorite gym to go to ! I love the steam room and I also love the privacy of the jacuzzi. Great variety as far as equipment and the staff are always pleasant to see.

Yet again this gym is closing the kids club even though it is busy everyday and lots of members rely on it! Seems crazy that they are allowing this to happen at a signature club but looks like after 15 years I’m going to have to cancel the memberships of my wife and I and the kids club for both my kids. FYI my the new YMCA in Havertown has a kids club that’s open 7 days a week is a similar price and much cleaner it’s a shame because the La Fitness is slightly more convient for me and some of the employees at this location were great people.

This is the third time I have encountered this situation. The fitness aspect is very good, and the water selling machine is very, very poor. I asked the staff and they couldn't solve it

I’ve been going to several LA Fitness clubs for years and I love them for many reasons: convenient locations and hours, fun and varied classes, etc. But I want to specially thank my personal trainer Elijah W. for his outstanding services. I started weight training with Elijah years ago while suffering from chronic neck pain. Elijah customized every session to my particular issues and not only my neck pain went away, but I also feel stronger than ever and very pleased with my personal training sessions with him, to the point of switching from more convenient LA locations when he transferred to the Broomall location. Elija is very professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very committed to his costumer’s success. I can’t recommend and thank him enough. Thanks Elijah!!

I like the gym atmosphere at this LA Fitness location.The staff is friendly and they've made improvements in the training equipment.It's also cleaner than years ago.Suggest that they improve the shower area. The pool and hot tub are excellent.

Great facility and equipment with friendly staff. Unfortunately the place is almost always filthy, in particular the mens locker room, showers and steam room. Moldy and dirty, trash overflowing, non functional showers and sauna is commonplace. Had been going downhill since just opening a few years ago. Planet fitness infinitely cleaner with competent management. Do better!

This location itself is pretty nice with friendly accommodating staff. I don't typically use the showers, but the locker room is generally clean and the steam room is fine but I'm pretty sure the thermometer on it is not working and it's probably not as hot as it should be in there.My real issue is with LA Fitness the corporation. I was forced to pay for an upgraded membership since this was a signature club, even though I only used it because it was the closest to me. I used the Springfield, PA location for years and didn't cancel my membership even through the pandemic. I moved in that time and wanted only to use the Broomall location once I moved. There's no option for a more affordable membership where I can use just one location. Their big selling point was I can use any LA Fitness in the country, but I don't go to the gym besides in my home area.The other issue I have is LA's cancellation process. You have to go online fill out a form and physically mail it in to cancel. Clearly trying their best to make it inconvenient to cancel. It's 2023, you can have it done full online but choose not to.

The staff is kind and friendly. I have no issues at all with the staff. The work out area is nice. The steam room has not been working properly for over a month and currently smells like a pet shop and is dirty. The showers are also dirty. I can sign up for a gym membership anywhere, I don't pay to work out. I pay for the spa area and haven't been able to use it recently because it doesn't work the way it should. If I don't show up to the gym, I still have to pay for my membership, but if I show up and things I pay for are broken repeatedly or not fixed in the first place it's not like the price of my membership reflects that. It's a little disappointing.

The equipment and work out area is top notch with lots to choose from. I never seem to have to wait long either and always get a fantastic work out in. The cables usually have 1 or 2 broken at any given time because people abuse them but the problem I have is maintenance and cleanliness of the locker room. The showers can be filthy at times with hair, band aids, paper towels etc left in there, and sometimes for days. There is also obvious mold and mildew built up over time that is never addressed. The vents near the hot tub are eye level when sitting in the hot tub and are caked with dirt and grime, clearly never cleaned and disgusting to look at. The steam room is down for maintenance 50% of the time and usually for weeks at a time. It currently is down and has been out of service for 2 weeks. The handle on the door to the steam room has been broken for months and would take anyone 15 minutes to repair. I'm paying full price for spa services that are not always available to me. That can be frustrating. I enjoy coming to LA Fitness but wish there was a lot more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

I am disappointed that there is one cycle glass at 5 30 am then no others glass the rest of the day at the Broomall facility.You have to look for glasses in ur other facilities. I wish we could go back before Covid and be able to find classes I like at one clubTraveling from club to club is no fun. Can you do anything about this????

This is a great facility. Audio shams, resistance, exercises, and personal training area. Even though sometimes it’s crowded. It never feels that way. Aaron, the general manager is super friendly and helpful. I have been coming to LA fitness for 20 years and this is the best and nicest club I’ve been a part of. I would recommend this to anyone.

Unbelievably unkempt and disgustingly dirty. I keep getting fungal issues that I have never gotten before in my 25 years of working out at different gyms around the country. The workers blast their own music from their phones and act very unprofessional. The only time they actually clean the place is when a regional manager is in the house. Save your money and sign elsewhere
