This store is amazing for the items in stock and the good prices. There is a huge selection of anything that you can think of for any scale model trains. They have a large helpful staff who are willing to help you find any particular item and good advice and tips for the hobby.

This place is like walking into the Twilight Zone of trains and Toys. Many years ago, there used to be neighborhood hobby shops that carried toys and trains. This place is like going back into time. Downstairs is like a doll factory. They have tons of model figures too. Don't forget to go upstairs! All of the exotic trains are upstairs. From N gauge to G gauge. I can't even come close to telling you how great this place is. You need to experience it for yourself.

I truly did not think hobby stores like this existed anymore. It was wonderful and wonderfully strange. The entire second floor is devoted to trains. It is jammed with merchandise. I have no idea how they know what they have in inventory, but somehow everyone working there knows where everything is when you ask. I am not an expert in model trains, but my 65 year old brother decided recently to create an HO scale layout in Michigan, and I'm visiting him in a few weeks and thought I'd bring him something interesting for his set. I purchased an engine, a rail car and a building. I had a great time and will be back.

Into model trains? This is THE place to go! They have a super HUGE selection of trains and related hobby supplies. The store is packed! It's not a stretch of the imagination to say they have everything. Their prices are very good. Oh! Need to preorder a new item? They do that too.

Everyone was really nice here, I felt welcomed by everyone. They have a nice selection of trains, and knowledgeable employees that found me everything I needed to restart my old hobby. It’s nice to know a younger guy can go someone and be welcomed as I wasn’t at another hobby shop. Thank you!

This shop is absolutely outstanding. My, soon to be 17-year-old son's birthday is coming up in the next week and he is very nosey, (always searching around to see if he can find his gifts). Anyways, I asked Nicholas Smith trains if they can send the items in an unadvertised box so my son wouldn't suspect anything. Not only did they do that, but they also had the fastest delivery I've ever had from any shipping company. One day turnover. That never happens to me, and the prices are great here. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is a model train enthusiast.

Every time I come here, I find what I need. If you can’t find it, ask. It’s probably in the back. I recently rebuilt my entire train layout using gargraves and ross track from here. The service is great. I always look forward to my trips here with my toddler son.

They are an actual Toy store! With toys! I enjoy browsing there but they have a lot of things you won't find in a box store that sells toys.
