Definitely not worth the price or commute. Got 2 bagels - one w/cream cheese and one with just egg. The cream cheese bagel had a hint of cream cheese (may as well have just gotten a plain bagel for less money), and the egg bagel had 1 (yes 1) microwaved egg. By the time I got home, that microwaved egg was as hard as the coffee table I was eating on. Not to mention, the everything bagel I ordered literally only had poppies.Oh, and I spent an extra $1 for using a credit card. Won't be back.

Requested a bacon and (scrambled) egg with no cheese on a toasted everything bagel. They said they don’t do scrambled egg. Okay….weird but I’ll live. Changed it to a bacon with no cheese on a toasted everything bagel. I get home to have my breakfast and surprise—there’s cheese! I was very specific. Now I’m very annoyed. Had to trash it as I cannot eat it. Won’t be back.Dietary restrictions: Not Kosher!

I love independent bagel shops but not this one. I had the whitefish salad bagel sandwich that was overpriced and miserably light of substance. The tomato was artificially reddened and rock hard. Overall, the food was good but a ripoff. I also had to pay an extra dollar because I used a debit card, assuring that I would never return. $16.00 bucks for a hurting (substance wise) bagel sandwich, small coffee, and a cookie. This place could use an update both in appearance and in merchant services.

Original Bagel is my go-to spot for Bagels, and they are delicious!

My wife and I used to drive up to North Jersey to get good bagels because most of the places in this region just don't quite meet the standards of a NY region bagel. Original Bagel is going to save us a LOT of gas & toll money because we won't need to make that trek anymore. We had the sun-dried tomato bagels and onion bagels, with some of their horseradish-cheddar cream cheese. Delicious!

Great local place for bagels. Always fresh and tasty. They also make sandwiches and to go orders.Parking: Busy at lunchtime due to other business in the center

The only authentic bagel spot in many many miles. They have consistently fresh, fluffy, but crispy bagels. My family has been patronizing this business for I would say, about 20 years. I highly recommend the pumpernickel bagels, the half and half, as well as the classics sesame, poppy seed, and rye. If you are feeling adventurous or love try the jalapeño.

Went to pick up a dozen bagels and the staff and team were very accommodating. Wanted some garlic and got them straight from the oven. Lots of other good treats as well as the bagels. No room to eat-in but a great place.

Although I'm not a New Yorker myself, I come from a family of New Yorkers and therefore grew up regularly enjoying quality Jewish food. Needless to say, I'm very picky about my bagels! I kept reading about The Original Bagel shop from "Best Of" lists, so I while I was as in Broomall, I ventured in to give the place a try. The Original Bagel lives up to all the hype! It was about the closest thing to a real New York bagel that I could find in the Philadelphia suburbs. So glad I tried it and I will be back for more bagels- I might even make a special trip!

My husband and I love the bagels here! I'm originally from NY and always looking for a good bagel. Boy are these bagels and cream cheeses NY worthy!

TL;DR: Overpriced and undercooked bagels. Other baked goods available like cookies and desserts that looked unremarkable. My wife and I were in the mood for bagels this morning and since our usual spot was closed for Rosh Hashanah, we gave this place a try.The bagels were indeed better quality than a bagel in a grocery store, but just barely. The big miss is that they were underdone, which after one bite made it off-putting enough to not want anymore. If that wasn't enough to turn us off, they add insult to injury by charging an extra dollar for all credit card purchases. As someone who works with credit card technology for a living, I understand wanting to mitigate these charges, but to openly take advantage of your customers in this way is bad customer service and poor business practice.
