“Couldn’t have picked a better venue for our big day. Grace was our coordinator and she was amazing every single step of the way & was such a big help to me during the planning and kept me super organized and on track. Her and Ashley helped me on my wedding day and they were the absolute best at making the day go smoothly and perfectly for me and my fiancé. Our guests raved about the food and had amazing things to say about all the staff members. While it poured in our wedding day, they all supported us in still doing our ceremony outside and were willing to get soaked with us to make it happen!!! I can’t recommend them more. “Beautiful venue, just alittle jam packed. Food was delicious. Didn't make much sense that there were cigars being given out and an area to smoke them by the fire pit but was told couldn't smoke cigarettes in this area. But vape pens were OK. Make that make sense when cigars are the smelliest. Pretty rude in my eyes.”

“Merion Tribute house is the perfect venue for a rustic castle-style wedding. It was everything we wanted in a venue. The Legion room is perfect for hosting a cozy indoor ceremony while the patio and lounge are perfect for cocktail hour. The ballroom is the perfect mix of large to host but still hinting toward rustic formal charm. The stage is perfect for a live band (we had one and it was great!) The entry area is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and the building itself is a jewel. You get the entire venue to yourself for your day, no sharing with others, and Collette was very easy to work with and has all sorts of diagrams and information on measurements and whatnot for helping you plan things out. She can work with you to store your decor and alcohol at the venue in advance so it's already there days before your event. They have preferred caterers and we went with John Serrock who was amazing as well. This venue was everything we hoped and dreamed and was reasonably costed too. The bridal suite to get ready in was so helpful and had lots of space. The grooms get ready area was great too. Photos of venue are by Martin Reardon Photography”

“Make reservations please & confirm if your reservation is inside or outside. Food is very good, but heavy on the salt (*for me). Service is a bit lacking when busy. Overall, great visit. The complimentary Canapé upon seating is worth the visit. View outside is fantastic.”

“I enjoyed the visit here, I expected more when comparing it to similar area attractions. The most enjoyable areas were the vegetable garden and butterfly gardens. The maze was simple and fun for the little ones. They also enjoyed the various tree houses/forts throughout the park. The native woodland walk was the least impressive part of our visit. It seems a couple attractions marked on the map are missing. Several information signs in the area were in need of cleaning or replacement. It certainly is a nice place for a walk and to see and smell the natural beauty of the area, but I don't know that I would come back again.”

“I recently had my wedding at Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and can't even being to explain how happy I am with our day. From our first tour with Tina, she thoroughly explained every detail and option that Finley had to offer. The day of the wedding was so stress free thanks to Ellis with the staff that they have working to assist you in making your special day easier. From morning to night there was always someone coming to me asking if there is anything that we needed help with. All of our guest's RAVED about the food, many letting us know that it was the nicest wedding that they have attended. Tina, our event coordinator also does in house events. She further exceeded any of our expectations for the centerpieces to the decorations and I set them very high. This was the best night without a doubt & I will forever recommend Finley Catering!!”

“We had a lovely brunch at SMC on Sunday. Wonderful greeting, lovely corner table and host was quick to open our byob and serve. Our server was a delight and the meal was perfectly timed. We enjoyed all of our appetizer salads and entrees. Loved the cheese plate for dessert. Mostly though, it was the lovely service and ambiance that made the meal so special.”

“I rented the Saturday Club as our wedding venue. Dennice handled the process of our rental perfectly, and when she was unable to give us a tour prior to renting, Lindsey was able to show us around. The building is great, and old as well. We hosted about 60 people at our wedding on a Sunday and it went great! Ruben, the event manager was awesome and even helped me with some quick panic breathing exercises right before the wedding ceremony. Also, for a nice building with a large kitchen for catering, the price was unbeatably low. Very well worth the money!”

“Our wedding at The Duportail House was amazing. They were one of the very few places that allow couples to bring in their own caterers. I am Jamaican and my wife is Ghanaian so it was very important that we had our traditional foods represented. Additionally, my wife loved the old century, rustic look of the house which flowed well with our wedding design. Kate, the Duportail's coordinator, made sure my wife had exactly what she wanted in terms of layout and seating arrangements. Stop by and see if it fits your needs. Our wedding comfortably seated our 65 guests.”

“Hosted a baby shower here this weekend and couldn’t have been happier. The venue is perfect, incredibly charming and full of lovely details everywhere you look. We comfortably hosted 50 guests and everyone remarked on how beautiful the space was. Dana was super easy to work with and communicative leading up to our event, and Kelli did a great job on the day of. We were so pleasantly surprised when the alpacas made an appearance! For a day that couldn’t get any better that just added a little magical touch. Highly recommend Sage Farmhouse and I’m already brainstorming a way to have another event here in the future!”

“I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. The staff was welcoming and patient, resulting in a wonderful event.I highly recommend! Totally worth the trip, if you aren’t local.”
