“Nick and Suzie are wonderful owners! Suzie was very responsive in messages and worked with my schedule for pickup. Nick loaded the statue into my car and explained how to care for it. Their collection is also well-curated and the welcoming nature of the two made it a pleasure to visit.”

“What a great store run by such nice people. They have a love of furniture and helping their customers feel like they’re being heard and not just sold to. We brought our young kids and they were super accommodating. Kids had a blast playing and chatting with Barbara and we got a great sideboard for our dining room. Can’t wait to show it off. Highly recommend.”

“Great service today. . The two fun & delightful ladies working today must be sisters because they got along like peas and carrots! I always find some thing I need when I am here. They have some adorable cards here in the back of the parking lot. There's another building in the first room that you enter has these wonderful cars. Another treasure here that I absolutely adore are these cookies. I believe the lady's name is Kathy and she makes the most beautiful and the most delicious cookies .I love giving these gifts to folks, I know .I picked up some today because I know two people that are having a birthday and one person who's under the weather. So I have perfect cards and the perfect little side gifts to give .Thanks for everything.”

“On the hunt for a 24”ish round side table… I was lead to this place by another local antique store owner. I found what I was looking for and received great service. The furniture and accessories in this store are worth stopping in and checking out. The owner was wonderful to speak with and knew his inventory! I will most definitely stop by again.”

“Wherever they relocate to, we will have to come by, because they have such a wide variety of antiques here. Since they are in the process of moving, everything was very unorganized, but if you stumble upon this place while they're open like we did, stop by! Lots of hidden gems inside.”

“I enjoy the post from Isabelle Sparrow, but just realized I had not seen them on a long while. The algorithm writers do not know me and should not be choosing for me.”

“We love this shop! I have found the owners to be always pleasant and have stayed late for us. We've bought great depression ware, a few lanterns, 2 kid rockers, including lots of Knick knacks and larger antique furniture pieces as well. I love the hunt for a treasure, you can hunt here. Beware, they know what they have and what it's worth but, have been generous with discounts for repeat customers. I have been there in 2 years because of COVID. Wish everyone who is 5 and over would get vaccinated. We all want to go back to normal, the vaccines may be the only way. Hope to visit this store soon!”

“Walked in just to check out the store & browse. They had so many different items. It was enjoyable to talk to the owner & walk through. So much history with each item. I did buy a small decorative piece. Looking forward to going back.”

“The volunteers who share their generous time for a Good cause are always gracious and knowledgeable at 'Bird in Hand.' My husband and I continue to shop here yearly at Christmas time, and love finding unique treasures for family and friends.”

“Moved in to my new apartment and was in need for some quaint mid-century pieces. Website was easy to use, up to date inventory. Saw a table I loved and was in the next day to see it. Brian and his team was courteous, allowed me time and space to view the pieces at my own pace (which is rare to find in retail)! Appreciated their advice concerning matching chairs for the table. Delivery was seamless and they were able to accommodate my work hours to deliver. Jerome provided excellent delivery and helped with unpacking. Could not have had a better experience and will definitely be going back to them for when I need more furniture. Thank you everyone at Mid Century Furniture!”

“The Clover Market actually moves around the area, and the one I went to this year was held in Collingswood. I heard it was the only one in Jersey this year. They claim there are 100 vendors, but I really don't feel like it was that many, though I saw that there were a few booths were artists split a booth. Now, this ain't your neighborhood grandma using Michael's ribbons on sale with her 25% coupon to make wreaths that you slap onto your front door. For many of the booths, it was gallery quality, and the prices reflect as such. Everyone was super, super friendly. My favorite booth was the guy who handcrafted amazing whirligigs. I had to buy a flying pig that used bird feathers to catch a breeze. Stunning, and for $40, I had to get it.”

“Thrift store feel with authentic vintage pricing, without any real authentication of the items. However they have a cutest little old doggo who was very friendly and greeted us.”

“Great I bought an oak drop leaf table and a large flower pot, and a Bose Wave and 2 speakers. The young lady was very nice and informed. I enjoyed their selection. Some prices are too high but they might work with you on purchases.”

“When ever I am in Philadelphia/Chestnut Hill I always check out the McCarty Gallery. Good art from estates and more often than not I am able to come away with a treasure. Wish I lived closer.”

“Fabulous art and artifacts from around the world! The pricing is middle of the road and stays affordable. Plus some smaller shops featuring global family clothing and accessories. Enchanting atmosphere all around and the music is refreshingly eclectic A big plus.”

“If you're looking for old woodworking tools, Ludwig's is paradise in earth. The selection is amazing. Old busted planes for parts, good users, saws of all sorts, and a selection of rare and collectible tools under glass. The owner is very knowledgeable, and the prices are fair. Set yourself a spending limit before you step inside, it's real easy to go overboard.”

“Huge store that could take you hours to go down all the racks full of clothing. Some great items although a few torn or stained clothes. Poor furniture selection (some couches were literally snapped in half, broken) and not many decor options. That being said, so much clothing.”

“I don’t understand how this gentleman gets these terrible reviews. He is very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I loved his outgoing personality and his knowledge of all the items in this shop. Never seen a place like this on. Anyone who is into antiques should visit no matter the reviews. Sounds like he may have been nervous with the pandemic and wanted to stay well by asking questions. If I had such thin skin as these people making these bad reviews, I couldn’t have gone anywhere the last few years without getting upset. I get that people have anxiety about getting Covid. This owner and his charming shop shouldn’t be rediculed because of it. But it’s ok, you can pass it on by and leave the treasures to me and the people I will refer!”

“I see all the negative reviews and all I can say is I have found some unique pieces over the years. Please, completely understand what this house offers, what you are buying and how they work and then you will be satisfied. Be realistic!”
