John is a master at creating beauty from chaos. I brought him my dearly-departed mother's 19th c. bachelor bench (a 3-in-1 combo chair, step-ladder, & ironing board), a turn-of-the-century tortoise-shell round table, a pleather midcentury chair, & a hideous orange velour upholstered chair. All had been damaged by neglect, water, or cigarette smoke. He did the work precisely, in great time, & with a sense of humor. These transformed treasures now have pride of place in my own home. I got other estimates for the same work -- even in different states! But John beat them all by a long shot. Can't express how fortunate we are to have this consummate artist and professional in our local area.

Wow. John completely breathed new life into my dad's old furniture, making it solid, comfy, and attractive again. Price was right, job was completed faster than we expected. We saved money by dropping it off , then picking it back up, at the Bryn Mawr location after it was done. No-nonsense, little hassle, great result. We've returned several times as a happy customers with more treasures he's helped us rescue from trash. Would recommend John & Niki Francis to any and all. - Sam B.

Got an estimate in a very timely fashion. Decided to go with another company but price was reasonable and response was fast. Will definitely keep in mind for next job

This man is a hack and a sorry excuse for a human being. Buyer beware.
