I had a wonderful experience here this morning and wanted to share. I’m battling breast cancer and yesterday I met Ilene while getting a wig from Bryn Mawr hospital. My hair had begun falling out from chemo and I was ready to just shave it off. After helping me with the wig, Ilene told me that I still had enough hair to donate to Locks 4 Love and that if I came into see her at The Shear Touch I could donate and she would be able to shave/shape my head. She went above and beyond to make a traumatic time in my life much more bearable and I’ll forever be grateful.

Excellent hair cut at half the price of most Main Line salons. Does great quick dry cuts. Owner is a really great person who cares and gives back to community. Great option for tween and teen cuts too. Bring a couple of quarters to feed the meter. Parking avail on side street Summit Grove Ave.

I was lucky enough to find this place right when I moved here. Kate does my hair and she is amazing with cuts and colors, and my cut always grows out great, too. Plus everyone is always super sweet and kind.
