1st staff we dealt with was nice what the second person we dealt with was kind of judgmental and seemed to be better than. The guy with the night before said we can return the brake line is the wrong one and then that guy didn't want to return it and made a standard 15 minutes until the other guy was off the phone and then the other guy was like yeah we can do the return. So basically they don't know what unless you get lucky and get somebody that actually does know what they're doing. Other than that service was good the other guy was great but the other guy was kind rude. I wish I would have got the name so you know who not to deal with but unfortunately I didn't.

Called Pullman Square store #1217 to check if part was in stock. Was put on hold immediately . Waited 15 min. then called store across town store# 1237 on another line while still on hold . Was taken care of right away and informed that part was in stock at store # 1217 (still on hold) Drove to store #1217 (still on hold listening to recorded. Msgs over and over) entered store and lost phone connection @32mins on hold only 1 customer in store browsing isles. At least 4 employees visible .after a few mins @ counter was approached by William who was willing to help me, told him what I needed and asked about being on hold not much to say. Asked to speak with manager so he calls for Billy. Billy comes out ask him about being on hold so long. Says they may have been too busy to answer phone, told him that I was still on hold when I entered empty store he smiled and shrugged his shoulders! Where do you think I’ll buy all of my parts from now on? Anywhere BUT Advance!!!!!!!

Was given an incorrect part. Was stores error. Part was on the wrong shelf in part spot we needed. Associate could of double checked part before selling this to me. Resulted in an additional trip and exchange

I will say they did have exactly what I needed and it was easy to find, wiper blade wise. However, their free wiper installation doesn’t apparently apply to younger men and only the older generation. The clerk didn’t ask me if I needed help, and there was another worker who was already helping someone else put their blades on. Once he was done he saw me struggling and still didn’t offer to help. Yet he came out 5 minutes later and did it for someone else. I don’t know how to take blades off and put them back on, but if you’re a younger guy i recommend not going to this advanced auto.

The counter associate Mark, was hands down the best help anyone could have asked for. He exemplified professionalism, courtesy, empathy and textbook customer service. At one point he said, and I quote, “I’m not here to give you answers, I’m here to help you find a solution.” He literally gave me 100% of his time and attention. He was patient, understanding and extremely helpful.At one point an elderly came In lost and looking for FedEx. He did not know where one was but took the time to look it up on his phone and helped her to understand how to get there. NOT his job but further shows his true nature.Now, he did mention that this location was not his typical store, so I thinks it’s important to mention, I am reviewing Mark more so than this Advanced Auto location. Advanced, you’d better take care of this one. He’s the real deal!Mark, thank you sir!
