I visited Essence for a pedicure and had the best experience possible! Washington my nail technician gave the most thorough & relaxing pedicure I could ask for! Will definitely be back!

I called ahead to see if they had space for a walk in to get an acrylic fill, which they did, and when I got here the place was empty except for one employee, Moon. She was very polite and chatty with me. I picked a color and she got to work. Now, on my right hand, I had two nails that had lifted some so they were a bit discolored, I thought they’d get filed down and filled in, like it is any other time this happens. I would have even been ok with her saying it is better to get a new set instead of a refill. So things progress and chalk it up to maybe the pink base for the French color would cover it, but she used clear, so it is still very visible. While her work was quick and she was very friendly, I was rather upset to pay full price for it. She did get my nails squarer than most others, and the fill itself is nice, the French tips I got, right hand is pretty good, wish it was a bit lower to cover where my real nail meets the nail bed, left hand certain fingers there is barely a curve to the French tip. I just wish there was a little more care taken or whatnot. A couple had walked in shortly after she got started with me, for pedicures, and since she’s the only one there, I feel like she was a little pressed for time to get me done so she could attend to them. I would consider coming back again if I was getting a fresh set instead of a fill.

Run the other way as fast as you can! I've never had such a bad experience getting my nails done! The mam attempted to do them but screwed them up so bad he sent me to his wife's chair to try and fix them! Rather than start fresh, she tried to work on his filed down mess! End product hideous nails half inch shorter then what I chose, coffin almond shape from trying to file off the mess! After 2hrs and 36mins I walked out with a $55 charge and the worst nails ever! Guess I'll wait the 2 weeks till my girl is back from vacay! Trying this place was a huge mistake! The amount of acrylic stuck all over my hands they didn't bother cleaning off is disgusting. I couldn't imagine charging someone for such hideous work!

On a positive note they did get me in without an appointment, however I had a manicure with dip powder and a pedicure with shellac polish, pedicure hurt the gentleman kept digging my two big toes and hurting me left me bleeding and charged me extra for using callous remover cream, what??
And my manicure with dip polish was done wrong!! Two weeks later my 4 of my natural nails are broke polished chipped off and they look awful. Truthfully not recommended. Spent $115.00 on this experience as a visitor who is also a nail technician I would NEVER go back. Sorry

My friend went to get her nails done and had to pay $65 for these. The quality is bad, theres dips in the nail and she asked for square nails and got duck nails instead.

First time here. Friendly people, which I appreciate, but my nails did not turn out good. I got dip powder, and this is the first time my nails felt chunky and rough with the dip. I think they squeezed me in and were in a rush. The guy I had made me bleed because he was trying to clean up the mess he made around my nail that had already dried. The service was overpriced for the quality. I left and immediately went and got my nails fixed somewhere else because I couldn't stand how they felt so it ended up costing me more money. I won't be back.

Literally awful. I don't even get my nails done and the vibe here was embarrassingly awkward. The workers were really rude. They seriously lacked customer service and people skills. Not to mention they rudely kept taking calls while doing my nails. Made me super uncomfortable. They literally with no effort filled my nails awkwardly then buffed them terribly and then applied nail polish and that was the "gel manicure" no soaking; no cutting of cuticles, no cuticle work at all, nothing. And, they did the job no better then I could at home. Don't go here, seriously. Just polish painted over a bunch of nail dust. She did the nails in literally 10 minutes and completely rushed me out the door. I was trying to make small talk with her I was so nervous and she was very unpleasant.

Definitely my go to nail salon in butler! They get you in and out! If you are looking to get acrylics I would recommend one of the girls they really know what they are doing!

Worst set of acrylic nails I’ve ever had! I don’t know his name but I had a male, he took 2 & 1/2 hours for a full set, 5 days ago. They are different shapes, sizes, and the acrylic was over my cuticles so now my nails are lifting! $65.00 it cost me. I’m truly upset.
