I cannot recommend this venue enough! We recently celebrated my daughter’s 1st birthday here, and I can honestly say it was the most stress-free, enjoyable experience imaginable. The owners are an absolute dream to work with—kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making your event perfect.
From the moment we walked in, I knew everything was taken care of. The owner handles it all—from setting the tables with real dinnerware to beautifully decorating in a theme that matched the season. We chose a “Winter Onederland” theme, and the setup was absolutely stunning. I did bring some additional decor like a balloon arch and picture garland, and the owner made sure to help me set it all up with ease.
Another huge plus was that the venue handles all of the cleanup, including packing up the leftovers (which I didn’t even have to ask for)! They really take all the stress out of hosting an event, leaving you to enjoy the day with your loved ones.
Whether you're planning a shower, birthday party, small family gathering, or any other type of celebration, this venue is the perfect place. The owners are so welcoming, and they truly go above and beyond to make your event special. My daughter’s first birthday was a hit, and it was all thanks to them! Don’t hesitate to book this place for your next event—you won’t regret it!

We had the baby shower for my daughter in The Gathering Spot in Butler and everything was very nice since the moment that I called and talked with the Owner Mary Ellen, who was very kind to answering all the questions , and I went to see the place and I like it so much and also we asked her that we want a butterfly theme for decorations and she did it , she did an amazing job. I recommend this place, also the food was delicious , I am so happy that I found this place because our guests were very happy and my daughter had the best shower that she will remember forever. Thank you Mary Ellen for making this day beautiful 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

The Gathering Spot was amazing to work with. I would 100% recommend them for a baby or bridal shower. The owners are so easy to work with, take care of all the decorating, and provide so much advice to make your day run as smooth as possible with zero stress. I’m so happy with how my baby shower turned out!

The Gathering Spot ATL Location They denied me a year ago last year I reapplied again this year last month and the lady called me and told me they were having a meeting the next day and she would call me back the next day. I never heard back from her. I sent a text and still never heard back from her. So basically, I’m just going to assume the answer was no. I even sent her a text letting her know that I’m assuming they decided not to except me because I never heard back and that was two weeks ago and still never heard back from her, so I feel like I was ignored lack of professionalism I will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint and Google review

This place was absolutely amazing! The owner was beyond fantastic! She made everything so stress-LESS. It's big enough for your small events and special occasions and not too big that people don't mingle. My daughters baby shower was there this past weekend and the owners were just the sweetest! They do everything, setup, provide food, serve and cleanup. We were able to enjoy the shower without the stress of setup and cleanup. My daughters other mom couldn't have picked a better place!( the pictures posted backwards...1st video was the quick cleanup and the 2nd was before. They did all the decorations and table settings! )

Our Dally family dinner was great there! Very good food catered from the Monroe Hotel. Mary Ellen and her husband were so nice and pleasant and helpful for us. They packaged up all the food in individual portions and even took a group photo! Highly recommended from my family ?

I would HIGHLY recommend the Gathering Spot to host your event. The space itself is beautiful, but what really sells the place is the service. Mary Ellen was absolutely fabulous in assisting us plan for our event, and a even more fabulous host when the event was occurring. She decorated the place beautifully for the bridal shower we hosted at The Gathering Spot. She also made sure we were able to enjoy the event, by preparing so well and assisting us during the shower to make sure everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed our time there and would absolutely do it again! 10/10 recommend!

A surprise birthday party. Very clean and very nicely decorated hall. The couple who own it couldn't be nicer to work with. Need a nice place for a small party check this place out. Very charming.
