When our boat broke mid season, we contacted West Penn Marine and were told by Justin that it would be 3 weeks before they could look at our boat. We were thrilled when George contacted us a week later and said we could bring it in. We had it there within the hour. When another week passed and we didn't hear anything, we checked in with them and were told, very smugly, by Justin that they hadn't touched it yet and it would be another 2-3 weeks. We took the boat home to make other arrangements for repair. On the way home, George called and tried to say there was a miscommunication. There certainly was, and it was on his part. While he didn't say they were ready to look at the boat, he also didn't say they were going to just leave it sit on their lot for another 2-3 weeks. It's pretty poor business practice to not communicate clearly with clients. Justin should not be permitted any contact with the public and George should learn to be upfront and honest with dealing with customers. We will take our business elsewhere.

I've been with George white since 1998. He has always repaired my issues correctly and timely. Also, George is quick to tell me if he felt I could repair it myself, and how to do it! George is one in a million! He has bailed me out a million times, and now, he is repairing boats for my nephew, who refuses to go anywhere else. Thanks George! We appreciate all your help!

Well worth the travel, been to the "highly rated marinas along the river " Make the trip to West Penn Marine Service, see George he will fix it right , and give you the information to keep your boat running for the long term , he's been doing service work for a long time and a huge wealth of knowledge , He has the knowledge to troubleshoot the problem without doing a bunch of remove and replace Approach Clean well maintained shop that speaks for itself

I cannot say enough about George and West Penn Marine Services. Such a friendly staff, and always so helpful. They go out of their way to help you! That is true appreciation of their customers! I drive over a hour because they are the only place I will have work on my boat.

West Penn serviced my Bass boat w Johnson 150 outboard motor. They did a first rate job, completed on time and for a reasonable fee. The owner and mechanics were polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend WPM to anyone and am currently taking my wife's Pontoon there for service too. Peter. Ackermann
