“Aldi may well be one of the best kept secrets in the grocery store industry. If you are tired of trips for groceries breaking the budget, give Aldi a try. It is a little tight to move around, they will ask you to use a quarter to use a shopping cart so that you will return the cart, saving you and them money (you get the quarter back when you replace the cart),PLUS they will not have some items you want, so you may need to make a second stop elsewhere, but the cost savings ,in my opinion, will justify any issues.”
“I never used to choose to shop here, but I am quickly becoming a believer. You might not find everything you need here, but you'll find super cheap prices on the basics”
“I understand the prices are a little high here but I really do enjoy having this place in the neighborhood. It’s convenient and clean. The employees are friendly and parking is never an issue.”
“Karns is great but a bit pricey.
Love the European section.
Love the meat section. The philly cheese steak chicken sausage is great.
Also love their own spices which have great prices!”
“For Latino groceries, the Derry Street Market has it all. Well stocked produce, meat, and dry goods department. The butchers even makes in house longaniza.Friendly staff, lots of parking. And don't forget some delicious pastry or guava paste and Dominican cheese.”
“For a small grocery store that is owned by Asians, they do make good subs and sandwiches. Go over to their deli and get one of them to make u a sandwich or sub, they'll make u whatever with whatever. The sub rolls probably 10-11 inches and they pack on the meat if you'd like. They're consistent and at a good price.”
“Aldi offers excellent discount supermarket prices. Earlier today, I purchased a Nutribullet to make smoothies. Aldi has a nice variety of frozen fruit affordably priced. I also like Aldi Italian sparkling water. Finally, one gallon of spring water is only $1.35.
There is a cashier, but the self-checkout makes checking out and bagging the items you purchased easy.”
