I reserved a Toyota RAV4 (or similar) but was given a Honda HRV. Man at counter claimed they are in the same class, but the HRV is much smaller and not as refined. He wouldn't budge on reducing the charge.

I rented a car from here, first of all I had the employee tell me over the phone he wasn't my personal assistant, , completely unprofessional. I was my own personal assistant sir... I was put in a Malibu that was dirty, sticky substance all over the car and under a half a tank of gas... I went back the next day to switch out the car for a smaller one that was better on gas.. employee were nice but couldn't help with any adjustments. Avis needs to know that the customer is not responsible to clean the rental from the previous driver. I cleaned the first car because it was dirty, inside outside and windows... the 2nd car wasn't clean on the outside but the rain cleaned it...

Disappointing experience. Reserved a compact car and was placed in a Tacoma that was overdue on service and very worn tires. The truck used to be a fleet vehicle and was very dinged up and still had remnants of the previous companies signage on the door. The employee wouldn’t compensate the gas, and recommended taking the car to the airport to remedy the situation. A simple rental pickup turned into a half of a day experience. Had to miss work in order to switch the car out and leave for a our trip on time.

Priced quoted was not the price I got charged. Had a screenshot of the quote and sent to customer support. They basically called my a lair, I will never user Avis/Budget ever again. Update they finally gave me the quoted rate, thank you

When there was a car available the employees explained to me that the car turned in was not in the best condition of cleanliness. They thought I’d maybe wait for another vehicle that had been turned in and getting gas. This car had a taillight out and I was told I could get it fixed and turn the bill in when returning the car. You can get pulled over for that traffic offense. Who wants that headache of explaining. The car I received not only had some kind of sticky substance on the back side windows, which I was made aware of, but the tires needed air. One needed 15 lbs. That bothered me for I was told that the car was serviced and only the stuff on the windows was hard to remove. My husband and I did make our trip and the Avis employees were honest but I felt their car selection was not up to par. For the money they make Avis should improve the quality of their cars and even make sure they have the quantity to meet the demands they receive and assure the customer will be available as requested.

I had a very good experience at cannonsburg location the gentleman at check out was very nice and knowledgeable.Also returning the car went smooth and that gentleman was also very nice.

Came back to a smashed in front passenger side window and their attitude was... leave your car at your own risk ( that I understand) but to tell me " we saw that" don't you think it would have nice to call me so I could have had someone take care of it prior to me returning?

Went to pick up a car today. There is an older gentleman who rang me out. Very kind. I read the other reviewer's who said he was slow, if it's the same guy, but this gentleman was very quick. The whole process took no more than five minutes. There was nobody else in the office so perhaps that's why it was fast? But he was very kind and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the car smells like somebody smoked in it so the guys who clean these cars dropped the ball on that one. But the gentleman behind the counter and the whole checkout process was very smooth and swift. No complaints!

Added all kinds of fees do not recommend at all and workers are rude couldn't get anywhere so I won't use them again or recommend.... Terrible

Received a call 40 minutes prior to my pre paid reservation for a three day rental to let me know they have no vehicles. John Sanders informed me to call customer service and that he knew this was going to happen yesterday. No other options ideas help or anything. Absolute Joke of an operation. Their wizard number is C2B and the owner of this franchised owned location is Armond Mark Antonio. I will never use these guys again. I wish I could give zero stars. Please don't use this location if you are relying on actually having a vehicle

Awesome service. Treated much better than their rental places. Cars cleaner and much easier to rent on app then other rental companies
