We tried Nate's twice, once at lunch and once for happy hour. In both cases the service was excellent - friendly and fast. The meals at lunch were wonderful, especially the greens as a side. Happy hour was a different story. To start, the happy hour "specials" were way, way overpriced. $5 for a single slider? The shrimp tacos, of which there were 2 on the plate, appeared to contain small, canned shrimp. Not at all the quality i would expect from a steakhouse of the caliber this place wants to be. And a $6 draft Miller Lite is not at all a deal. Just overall not a great happy hour experience. We may go back for lunch or dinner, but not happy hour.

Loved our first try of Nate's Chop House!!! We went for Happy Hour and the Short Rib Street Tacos were phenomenal!!! Loved the truffle popcorn, the green beans were good too. We will return for sure! They have a holiday gift card deal $100 gets $25 bonus gift card.

We attended the wine dinner event last night with my brother . It was amazing! The food was creative and delicious. The service was excellent and professional.Bartenders make the best drinks! And of course the wine chosen for each course was paired perfectly! I recommend these wine dinners !It was fun!

Wish I had just driven an extra 20 minutes downtown for a far better dinner. I spent the same amount of money at Nate’s Chophouse that I would have at Capital Grille or Del Frisco’s, but the experience and food were seriously lacking at Nate’s. The seafood tower had old, dry lobster claws, really poorly shucked oysters with shells throughout, and a crab “cocktail” that had the poorest quality crabmeat I have ever eaten. I initially thought the crab cocktail was a ramekin of coleslaw, but it was low budget “swimming crab” and was extremely fishy. The ribeye was thin and floppy, it reminded me of a steak you get at a diner with steak and eggs. It was cooked to the temp I ordered, but had no sear. Everything was lacking the finesse and richness that you expect at a steakhouse. Service was sufficient and warm, but also lacking in the experience you expect at a steakhouse. The cocktails were very nice, but small and on the pricier side for the size. I would not return based on this experience. We did bring the seafood tower issue to the attention of the staff but it was met with indifference, we didn’t press anything after that.
